New Pop Talent show to replace the X-Factor in 2007
(Reuters) Simon Fuller & Simon Cowell are planning the Pop reality TV show to beat them all. This time a team of judges battle former contestants to see who is the best at judging new singing talent. Will Young is apparently very keen to do it & is currently looking at freeing up his schedule for the second half of 2007 to be the nemesis of Simon Cowell. A 19 Spokesperson said “Will has always thought that he could do a better job of spotting talent as he has always felt that Simon Cowell & Louis Walsh have got a certain preconception of what a popstar should be.†Former reality contestants Myleene Klass, Lemar, Cheryl Tweedy & Darius Danesh have all been rumoured to have been approached to be part of the ex-contestants team of judges for this proposed show planned to replace X-Factor after three years on our TV screens in September 2007. There is already speculation that the auditions will consist of contestants being given different tickets so that they will audition to either the judges team or the former contestants team but in a twist a couple of the opposing panel of judges will have the opportunity to pick up the contestants who have been rejected by the opposing team. Any opinions? |
