The chorus is incredibly simple so I understand the disappointment for some, but there's something about the tone of it, especially now I've seen her do it live, that makes me really emotional. It's one of those choruses, maybe because it's so simplistic and spread apart in delivery, that really makes me think and feel quite reminscent about things.

Obviously the chorus is very simple by just repeating the same line, but for me it's the chorus that sells this song to me! It's mesmorising!
