Disappointing for Killing Eve, well that is what happens when you put the boxset available on the iPlayer.

Disappointing for Killing Eve, well that is what happens when you put the boxset available on the iPlayer. I think that's pretty good! It only dropped 300k from episode 1 which isn't much considering it's all available to watch on iPlayer! And (so far) hasn't collapsed in the way Wanderlust and Press have! |

Disappointing for Killing Eve, well that is what happens when you put the boxset available on the iPlayer. As the BBC are less reliant on advert income I doubt they worry too much about overnight figures for progranmmes like this and Keeping Faith, it's more the overall figures that include the iPlayer. Amazing figure for Bodyguard. The highest rating and share for a drama since Doctor Who's 50th Anniversary special. Amazing series, well deserved! i know loads of people that have already jumped ahead - why would c4 make it all available? I caved at the weekend and binged. My twitter feed is full of people who have watched the whole season. C4 and Sky seem to have done quite a wide ranging deal on content, C4 are getting F1 coverage out of it for example, and I think No Offence was part of that (and future C4 programming). Seems to be a growing trend of 1 episode on TV then the entire season dropped online, particularly on Sky with some of their programming. Riviera and Tin Star were all available immediately from memory |

For now. It'll be second when Doctor Who is released, making rhe figures look less amazing I can't see Doctor Who getting over 10 million on the overnights. The first episode will do well due to the hype of the first ever female doctor so will attract casual viewers. I'd expect it will get an overnight of between 6-7 million for the first episode then after that will depend on how well it's received. Bodyguard was just a buzz series for Doctor Who - showing the power of women in important roles and now Doctor Who will get 15m+ x
Yeh, Doctor Who will get 5-6m overall I feel. |

Digital Spy:
QUOTE Hit BBC drama Bodyguard has broken yet more viewing records with last night's hotly-anticipated series finale.
According to figures released by the BBC, 10.4 million people tuned in to watch the dramatic conclusion, with a peak of 11 million and 47.9% share of that evening's overall viewing. These gigantic figures make Bodyguard the most-watched BBC drama since 2008, when that year's Doctor Who Christmas special was seen by 11.7 million people. In addition, last night's finale racked up the biggest overnight drama ratings since 10.5 million watched Downton Abbey's series two finale in November 2011. Bodyguard has steadily increased its viewership over the six episodes this series, with episode one premiering last month to an average of 6.7 million people and going on to become the biggest episode of any programme ever on iPlayer with 7.3 million requests. Excluding World Cup football matches, the Jed Mercurio series is the highest-rated programme of 2018 across all channels. |

2m a much healthier number for No Offence than the overnights. Just hope its enough to save it, although I do think it would be more at home on a streaming service as it is highly serialised

New look BARB has FINALLY launched
https://www.barb.co.uk/viewing-data/four-screen-dashboard/ The official figures now include ratings on all devices (though there's some missing data atm) from 27 August onwards. Unfortunately, we're now only getting the top 15 for each channel instead of top 30 in the process. It's pretty cool, that BARB has broken down the viewing by device (i.e. TV, PC, tablet and smartphone) as well as an overall figure. For example EastEnders on Monday 27 August has now been upscaled to 5.91m to include devices. And Bodyguard ep 2 has been upscaled to 10.44m from 10m [episode 1 is missing data]. A positive change AT LAST! Though, it's a shame we're losing 15 programmes from the main 5 channels in the process. |
