QUOTE(Mack. @ 30th August 2024, 09:31 PM) *
Arsenal have announced the signing of Brazilian goalkeeper Neto on loan from Bournemouth for the remainder of the season.

The 35-year-old has been brought in as back-up to David Raya after Aaron Ramsdale joined Southampton.

Bournemouth also signed Kepa Arrizabalaga on loan from Chelsea, meaning they've allowed their first-choice goalkeeper and captain to leave the club.

Strange a player like Neto who was their no1 and played every game has decided to jump to arsenal to sit on the bench all season!

Brighton have confirmed that Billy Gilmour has left the club for a permanent move to Napoli.

The Seagulls are set to receive an initial £12 million, plus another £4m in add-ons.

Gilmour will join fellow Scottish international Scott McTominay at the Serie A giants to play under Antonio Conte.

talkSPORT understands that Fulham have hijacked Ipswich Town's proposed move for Reiss Nelson.

The England winger was looking to be heading to Portman Road for the remainder of the season on loan, but the Cottagers have struck in the dying minutes, and are now in the boxseat to get this one done.

The Eddie Nketiah transfer will be a good one for him and Crystal Palace as he will get to play week in, week out. At the same time though it feels like he is leaving Arsenal now when the momentum is at it's peak.

Raheem Sterling's loan move to Arsenal and Jadon Sancho going to Chelsea is just out of pure desperation on both parts. If Sterling gets to play regularly the move will suit him more and he'll be a better player than while he was at Chelsea. He'll never get back to the heights of his Man City days though.

Ivan Toney moving to Al-Ahli is such a strange transfer, it's got to be all about money and nothing else. He'll probably spend only one season there and leave otherwise his career will be half-way towards being finished.

Yeh sad to see Toney leave the premier league at his peak to make £££ in Saudi. Wonder if he rejected any English clubs?

Think Sterling makes sense for arsenal to take the burden off Saka!

That's Toney's England career all done and dusted now then.
