QUOTE Australian band 5 Seconds of Summer continues unstoppable promoting its successful self-titled debut studio album “5 Seconds of Summer“, released on digital retailers on June 27, 2014 via Capitol Records. While they are still promoting the latest single “Amnesia“, the guys have ready the next one. The fourth official single taken from the album is “Good Girls“. It was written by Ashton Irwin, Michael Clifford, Rick Parkhouse, George Tizzard, Roy Stride and Josh Wilkinson. There have been no surprise in the choice of next single, because the guys have said from the beginning that it was one of their favorite songs on the album. It’s catchy and really radio friendly. Instant hit. The boys filmed the official music video this weekend at Lincoln Heights Jail, an old prison that closed in 1965, in Los Angeles. Fabulous choice if this is true, easily my favourite of the songs left! Already has a top 20 peak too |

YASSSS, love this song, not sure if I quite prefer this to the equally amazing She Looks So Perfect but I'm just delighted they're releasing it (I did imagine they would, it screams single).

Definitely the best choice left ('Long Way Home' and 'Beside You' I'd LOVE to be singles but they're best left as two stunning album tracks ).

This is really catchy, remember liking it when it entered the chart as a grat. Much prefer their uptempo stuff, all 3 are strong tracks in their own right.

Definitely think this was the right choice commercially (the lyrics are ALWAYS quoted on twitter ) but actually not one of my favourites when there are the likes of 'Heartbreak Girl', 'Beside You' and 'Long Way Home' but yeah this will do better, and if it were to flop then oh well, it's already bagged a top 20 peak.

LOVE IT. New mix seems a little pointless but I do like it. Ashton solo in the middle 8

Nice concept for a video, but probably not as good as that for 'Don't Stop'. AMAZING video though. Can Calum get any more perfect? *.*

Why do they insist on their cover art being so hideous? Serious question.
Anyway this is a fairly good song (as was 'Amnesia'). Yay. |
