Yes, I can’t remember the exact day but it’s back for the fourth series next week!

Really excited, may need to plug it in the Black Mirror thread as it really does go underappreciated but is so good!

I just watched 12 Days Of Christine cus I was in a bit of a black mirror mood after finishing S4 and WOAH it was so good I need to check this show out!

Excellent - it is definitely worth watching the others, although 12 Days of Christine does remain my favourite episode to date so you've started with a real high point.

It's back! *.

I was quite surprised they went for something so light-hearted to start off the season, but it probably was needed after last season. I absolutely loved it, hilarious at points and the stage play set up and iambic pentameter was genius, and they still managed to fit in some plot twists I didn't see coming with the two sons being those of the suicidal man!

I'm not sure about starting a new series with a gimmick episode. And the gimmick itself wasn't my cup of tea. But part of the reason why I watch this is because it's all over the place so it's kinda hard to actually dislike episodes I'm not sure about.

Agreed, it wasn't really dark or interesting enough for me. It was quite clever with the iambic pentameter but beyond that (which soon tired after a few minutes) I just didn't enjoy it that much. I still look forward to the rest of the series as there have been some fantastic episodes in the past.

Same here, I was disappointed by it. It was sort of clever but also extremely obvious in how it all panned out, therefore it was only half the standard of a usual episode.

It had its place though and I'd far rather they tried new and different ideas, even if they don't all quite pay off.

Glad I wasn’t the only one who wasn’t feeling that episode as much. It was clever in terms of dialogue and plotting but it was all a bit expected? The great thing about the show is that it always experiments so I’ll continue to praise the episode for that, it just fell slightly flat for this one.

Still hugely anticipating the rest!! Glad to see more fans, after I was a lone wolf in here at the start laugh.gif

Think a short version of Black Mirror with no budget.

I've just watched the 12 Days of Christine and it was amazing. I don't cry at TV very often at all but I actually found myself welling up a bit.

I rewatched this today and I cried more than last time. Amazing.

Just caught up on the second episode. It was another nice enough episode, I was expecting it to turn into some sort of elaborate revenge plot so was quite surprised when it panned out the way it did. I wonder if this series is aiming for a different tone or whether we'll get back to the darker themes of previous series?

Last night's was probably my favourite this series. It doesn't quite make sense that the actual removal man turned up at a house numbered '9' when he was due to go to number 6 but we'll conveniently ignore that.

Oh yes, that was much more like it. I don't want to give too much away but I like it when the plot kind of explodes right near the start! biggrin.gif

Really loved that episode! It was what Rellik should have been! Need to watch it again I think to pick up on bits I probably missed.

I liked the second episode too, a really nice ending that I didn’t expect and a good look back at that 70/80s style comedians.

Just finished watching it!

I was so convinced that one was going to kill the other in the 'death do us part' bit that I thought was inevitably coming that I was completely thrown by what actually ended up happening. Whilst the rape bit was certainly the worst bit, I'm struggling to decide which is worse between a life in a dark locked room or a life of only eating pot noodles.

Just watched it, oh my mellow.gif I thought I guessed where it was going in a sad story of a marriage with the vows and that it would end up being suicide or one killing the other due to continuously failing marriage but then ofc. they pull the rug out with something completely unexpected! I should really stop trying to second guess this show.

This show really isn't showing any sign of wear, every episode has been brilliant - last week's reverse crime story was my favourite, it really speaks to how different and unexpected something can become when it's not told in a linear way.
