Welcome to the Personal Charts forum! This forum is an opportunity for you to show the rest of Buzzjack your favourite tunes of the week. You can do this in one of two ways:
01 Your own weekly thread of your top tracks. Charts are normally top 10/20/30/40s, but they can be any length you wish. This can include as many pretty pictures and features as you like (e.g. commentaries, retro tracks) or be as basic as you wish. Most charts are new and current songs, although anything can be included.
02 Submit your charts in the weekly BuzzJack Multichart topic, and if you have an album chart, submit that in the weekly Album Chart topic. These are compiled and revealed weekly by the moderators of the forum: SevenSeize, Riser, Calum, Kath & Sergej. For guidelines on how to post your chart in this thread, read below!
It's as simple as that! Just get out there and show Buzzjack members what you're loving!
We hope you enjoy posting in the Personal Charts forum though if you do have any queries or problems, please feel free to contact one of us!

Multichart Guidelines
The Buzzjack Multichart is a combined chart of every Buzzjack user's individual chart, compiled by one of Seven, Riser and James. A top 75 is posted every single week, with each individual chart's #1 contributing 40 points to the Multichart, all the way down to #40 contributing 1 point.
However, we need your help to ensure the compilation of the Multichart runs smoothly! We would greatly appreciate it if you could post your chart in the pinned Multichart thread every week. This is *not* compulsory but is very much recommended. Your chart will be counted either way, but posting in the main thread saves a lot of time!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These are some guidelines for posting your chart in the Multichart thread:
01 Post your top 40 (maximum) only! Any positions below #40 contribute nothing to the Multichart and won't be included in the spreadsheet at all, so it might save you some time by not posting them.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
02 No images or arrows to be included please! If included, they get copied over to the spreadsheet and delay the compilation process, so to save time, we'd appreciate if you could post just a text version! This includes any cover sleeves, up/down arrows, or any other images your chart may have.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
03 The chart format. Whilst we encourage any and all variations of chart formats in individual threads, a big no-no in the Multichart thread is including the 'Last Week' position before the 'This Week' position. For example, for a song that is #1 in a chart after its climb from #3, this may be its format:
03 01 Iggy Azalea - Fancy (feat. Charli XCX)
That would confuse the spreadsheet - it will assume that the first number is the position and get confused with 03 being the first number. Please make sure the 'This Week' position comes first when you post in the Multichart thread, like so:
01 03 Iggy Azalea - Fancy (feat. Charli XCX)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
04 Please don't post your chart using the numbered list function. This...
...does NOT copy the numbers. It copies like this:
Shawn Mendes - Stitches
Troye Sivan - WILD
Grace - You Don't Own Me (feat. G-Eazy)
...which means that us mods have to type in the numbers manually. This is slightly boring and something we'd like to avoid doing if at all possible! It's recommended if you type the numbers yourself:
1. Shawn Mendes - Stitches
2. Troye Sivan - WILD
3. Grace - You Don't Own Me (feat. G-Eazy)
^ That list copies perfectly into the spreadsheet.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
05 ONLY your chart is necessary in the thread! We don't need any other lists, dropouts, whatever. Just positions 1-40. Nothing else. We are more than happy, and in fact encourage other lists in your own personal chart thread, but for the multichart thread, we literally just need 1-40. Or 1-30. Or however long your chart is. Providing it's 40 or less (see note 1)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All of this can apply to both the Multichart and the Album Chart (as compiled by Calum). None of these are 100% compulsory but they are very much recommended and appreciated by us all to save time!
Guide to Posting a Personal Chart
(thanks to Cassandra, Jester and anyone else who has updated this in the past)
Hopefully this guide should give you a few ideas for your personal charts and help those new to making them
Images
Most people include images of CD covers in order to add a little colour to their charts, but it may not be obvious how to do this if you are unfamiliar with tagging.
Often, the image sizes people use are 128x128, with a black border around the edge which brings it to 130x130. If you cannot find one like this or make one yourself, please feel free to ask for it to be done for you in the pinned Cover Sleeves thread!
If you are unsure how to post an image of your own, follow this step by step:
01 Upload the image to a host site, for example, Photobucket or Tinypic.
02 Highlight the address (URL) of the image, and press Ctrl+C to copy the address. (Example of URL - 'http://i.imgur.com/yZ8zc3Y.png')
03 Paste the address into your topic, and add img tags around it, as follows:
Sub-Forums
The Personal Charts forum has three sub-forums for your use. Here's a guide to what each of them is used for.
Personal Charts Archive: This is for your own storage use only. No discussion happens in this section, it is solely for you to store all your past personal charts in your own thread so you can access them easily. Most regular posters have their own archive, as well as there being a thread for both the Multichart and Album Chart. A bonus for this section is your own chart runs thread - a handy resource for each and every song's chart run. Very few posters have this so of course it's down to you.
Chart Histories: Essentially, this forum is your chance to geek out! Contribute to any of the threads with your chart peaks, chart runs, and any relevant facts you wish to share in the threads there.
Countdowns & End Of Year Charts: Typically, this is at its busiest at the end of the year, naturally, as people count down their favourite songs/albums of the past year. However, that doesn't mean it can't be used at any other time - feel free to start your own countdowns in there related to your personal tastes!
I've added points #4 and #5 to the multichart guidelines post, please make sure to read them and take note!! I'll post a reminder in this week's multichart thread too.
