It's that time again! I've bundled every top 40 hit from 2019 into a Sporcle quiz - you're given the artist names, but can you remember all the song titles?

Well, I say every. I've included all songs that have graced the top 40 at any point over 2019, except one - there's a limit of 300 questions per quiz so I'm afraid I've chosen to exclude Paul McCartney - Wonderful Christmastime, as the lowest-charting Christmas top 40 re-entry this year. I'm sure you'd have all got that one anyway...!

Post your scores below but remember to use SPOILER TAGS when discussing answers!!

233/300 which is disappointing for me as I've usually done better. Could've done with more time to ponder on some of the obvious ones I missed (not that Sporcle lets you go above 20 minutes, I know) because I filled up most of the time with thinking 'wait what did they release this year... or was it actually last year... or is it a Christmas song?' drama.gif

FYI you have a typo on 'Fashion Week'.

Tried a second time after seeing the answers and got 275/300, with these I still couldn't remember:

Bugzy Malone - Kilos
Da Beatfreakz - Motorola
Darkoo - Gangsta
Dave - Disaster
DigDat - New Dior
Fredo - All I Ever Wanted
James Arthur - Rewrite The Stars
Khalid - Saturday Nights
Kodak Black - ZEZE (because I was trying to think of songs from 2019)
Krept & Konan - G Love
Liam Gallagher - Shockwave
M Huncho - Thumb
Meek Mill - Going Bad
MoStack - I'm On One
MoStack - Stinking Rich
Remedee - Love Of My Life (this artist I don't even remember ever existing)
Skepta - Bullet From A Gun
Skepta - Greaze Mode
Skepta - What Do You Mean?
Swarmz - Bally
Tory Lanez - Jerry Sprunger
Westlife - Better Man
Young Thug - The London (ouch, I really like this song)
Yungen - Comfortable
ZieZie - French Kiss

ended up getting 279/300 in the time allowed although that should've been 280 Fashion Week was misspelt - would've got a few more afterwards so won't go into what I didn't get.

although the least memorable top 40 hit of the whole year for me and one I never would have got would have to be 'Jealous' by DJ Khaled.

247/300! Not bad.

Significant songs I forgot were Higher Love, Monopoly, Harder, All Day & Night, Both, Mocking It, and Summer Days. Most of the others were just one-week wonders.

I got 288/300 (also spotted another typo which I have got Joseph to fix although it's one I don't think I'd have ever recalled anyway - MoStack's 'I'm The One', I remembered that the song was a Fredo collab but the title was completely escaping me). I might have got a couple more if not for 20 minutes being a little restrictive for 300 answers but there are definitely some that I don't think I'd recall with any amount of time. In all cases but one they're songs that I do remember but they just slipped my mind, or the titles did at least. But there is one song that I legitimately barely remember existing at all - 'Saturday Nights' by Khalid. After seeing that answer I was like '...oh yeah I guess that was a thing? was it?' laugh.gif

Aside from those 2 these were the other ones I missed:

Dave 'Thiago Silva' - this one was sneaky xx
DigDat 'New Dior' - wasn't thinking recently enough
Ed Sheeran 'South Of The Border' - ok that one's a little embarrassing
Jess Glynne 'I'll Be There' - holdover hits from the previous year always throw me off a bit, I tried about 500 variations on 'All I Am' thinking I just got the title wrong but nope lol
Krept & Konan 'I Spy' - but I got the 2 K&K songs that I hated, ok then
Marshmello 'Happier' - see Jess but this one I really should have got
Martin Garrix 'Summer Days' - ironically considering the Khalid song that I totally forgot, 'Ocean' was the only Martin Garrix song I could think of lol
The Chainsmokers 'Who Do You Love?' - eh, I'm glad to have forgotten this
Yungen 'Comfortable' - like MoStack, I remembered it was a Dappy collab but the title escaped me
Zedd '365' - lol

288

I missed

Catfish & The Bottlemen - Longshot
Jess Glynne - I'll Be There Did not think this or Happier charted this year at all ohmy.gif
M Huncho - Thumb
Marshmello - Happier
Miley Cyrus - Slide Away
MoStack - I'm The One
Rita Ora - Let You Love Me
Russ - Mr Sheeen
Sigrid - Don't Feel Like Crying
The Chainsmokers - Who Do You Love
Yungen - Comfortable
Zedd - 365

The Zedd & Chainsmokers tracks are the only ones that I completely forgot existed.

I'm so annoyed about Thumb/I'm The One/Mr Sheeen/Comfortable because I could remember the featured artists on all the songs but couldn't get the song title for the life of me.

I reckon I would have got 298 If I had more time.

This is definitely more of a typing test than a memory test laugh.gif Got to 238 but by the time I'd made it through once I only had a minute left so couldn't really go back!

204/300 which is very low for me, but my interest in the charts has dropped off a lot this year and all those rap songs that blend into one for me really dragged my score down. Without all the Xmas classics, I'd have been down in the 170/180 range.
