Apparently she was a "Guest Mask", so not a main contestant?
Her costume is Soleil (Sun) |

Well, it's clearly a quick cash grab for her + it keeps her in favour with the reality tv producers that are obviously helping with casting all these international versions.

Thanks for sharing Jay.
I really enjoyed that. She was a little tentative in the beginning. But she was really owning it by the first chorus. I think the song was a perfect choice for her! Especially given everything she’s been through. Vocally, she was able to showcase a bit more of her power and individual sound. I love hearing her sing again. So whatever the vehicle, it’s got to be a positive thing. She’s re-establishing herself as a singer, rather than just a TV personality. And I’m here for it! |

^ I wish it would encourage her to give solo music a go again!

She sounded good on the chorus especially when she went for it.

Thanks for sharing this, Jay! I agree with all of you. I'm just glad to see her up and performing...in whatever way we can get that. I think this is by far her best appearance in this Masked Singer franchise. I think she was genuinely trying to stump the judges in the other performances...and she ended up being dull by hiding all the characteristics of her performance style. Here, she lets that natural charisma shine through. For me, this kinda continues a trend going for 20+ years in her solo endeavors where her material isn't 100% right for her voice...but she pulls this one off well enough. Oh. I don't speak the language, so I'm curious. Were the judges told this was one of the Spice Girls? It seems odd to me they'd just independently come up with Mel B, Geri, and Emma as their guesses. |

The show is scripted and like most shows of this kind, I would imagine the judges know in advance who it is, they just pretend they dont lol 'Reality TV' much like these 'celebrity shows' have very little surprises in them, it is all planned before but edited to make it seem 'real'.. |

Yeah, I mean even if they like to pretend that they're totally concealing who it is, I'd say just arriving to work would give them a clue who it is - or in the case of the forgein versions they would be aware that someone like Mel B is in town! |
