We’ve had a few snippets leaked about his upcoming solo project, first of all Mark has been filming the video for his first single from the new LP in Berlin.

It is set in a nightclub and is full of weird and wonderful characters, you’ve got drag artists in the mix and also Markie dressed as an astronaut! The video shoot took place over two days in Berlin on February 26-27

Also if we follow the speculation on-line then this is the track-listing for Mark Owen’s new album -

1. Animals
2. Carnival
3. Giveaway
4. Heavens Falling
5. Raven
6. S.A.D
7. Stars
8. The End Of Everything
9. The One
10. Us And Ours

Mark and robbie have a knack for clever titles, hope the new TT one is a bit edgy too

Good conversation and has left me bewildered to a certain degree, Nobody else, does anyone know what the title was about, i had never even thought of this before.

4 Minute Warning wub.gif remembered hearing that in the car to the Isle of Wight ten years back. The only song I've heard from him tbh.

You should look up some more of his solo work as he does have some excellent tracks, and i would go as far to say better than 4 minute warning.

I would actually go so far as to say that 4 Mintue Warning is one of my least favourite tracks from the In Your Own Time album!

It is still a very catchy song but not the best on the album i would agree.

Also the only song of his that I can name. Will this new album launch him as a household name?

I cant ever see mark becoming a household name for his solo work, it doesn't seem it what he is aiming for but im sure he wouldn't say no it to it if it came along. I would a few more songs like child though, i did and still adore that song.

I would agree on both comments, him becoming a household name as a solo artist is highly unlikely now, he may have a slight chance if he releases a few very commercial radio friendly singles but even at that i would not be confident.

4 minute warning is his best track imo. If he gets a top 10 I'm sure he'll be happy. Can't see it selling platinum though. Probably have total sales around 150k tbh in this current climate of album sales

While your prediction would be wonderful i cant see the album selling anything more than 25,000, i would compare its chart run and sales in line with the recent performance of Kimberley Walsh's album from Girls Aloud.

Wow, do you think it'll be that low Pippa? I thought people would pick it up out of curiousity or people who are dying for a new TT record! Like all of us!!!
