Crazy that this managed to reach its 100th episode when it has like 6 episodes a series! Was a great celebration though and its nice to see that Ant & Dec still love to do the show (at least it comes across that way)!
I really do think that since its 'revival' it has got better with every series and it has become the PERFECT Saturday night entertainment show! |

I really do think that since its 'revival' it has got better with every series and it has become the PERFECT Saturday night entertainment show! I loved what they did (the end of the show show) paying tribute to all of andrew loyd webber's musicals here's to the next 100 episodes? seriously though, although the show has gained a lot of popularity and stuff, please, do away with the best seats in the house!. I can't say it enough. who cares who is sitting in the best seats in the house?. who honestly cares well, some people, or they wouldn't do it but to me it's like... well, let's just do a section that is all about what the audience members had for breakfast today. who, honestly, cares!. it's like well... we don't have anything to fill our time, we'll just do that. the saturday just gone was amazing game of phones is such an awesome feature, and I loved the run for your wife thing (and the marage on air!) the other thing I sort of disagree with is having the final show in florida (again) cmon guys, you did that last series- and the fact you're having it at universal in sted of disney makes no real diffrence. it's still the same thing I could get in to a heated debate about the diffrence between universal and disney, but hmm, I'll leave it for now I understand it's not easy to keep coming up with new ideas of where to host the final show from, and if it's going to become an issue, just do it from the studio- and think of some other thing you could do to make it special |

I wouldn't be surprised if the show was postponed this weekend because of recent events.

It will be hard for them to postpone considering everything will have been booked/set up for the Florida show in three weeks time! This situation will definitely be a big headache for ITV!

I believe that when it wasn't 100% confirmed that Ant was hosting "I'm A Celeb...", they had Holly Willoughby lined up as a replacement. I imagine that if they were to run it sans Ant this week, then they might similarly find another co-host for the week, and drop the "Ant & Dec's..." from the title of the show.

People of a certain age will want them to sign up Aisling Bea so that it can be Ant and Bea's Saturday Night Takeaway. Not that I've ever seen the programme.

Confirmed not to air this week as Ant ‘returns to treatment’. Hope he gets better
The other two episodes of the series will not feature Ant and ITV are reviewing options on how to deal with them. Big mess on their hands as you can’t have the show without one of the duo but it equally looks bad if they cancel the Florida finale! |

I feel really, really bad for him. Erm why? I don't. He's an idiot for drinking and driving and putting other road users' lives at risk as well as his and also his mum's. When will people learn not to drink and drive. He reportedly has £60 million in the bank so why not get a taxi? This doesn't bode well for BGT either. Some auditions are already in the can but not all so I've read and what about the live shows? This post has been edited by Crazy Chris: 19th March 2018, 04:52 PM |

There isn't an excuse for drink driving, but I wouldn't call him an "idiot", he has an addiction which is a severe mental health issue as much as say depression or anxiety, whilst also suffering with depression. He clearly needs the time off to get serious help, and more time off than he had before.

eeeeeek what a messy situation for ITV. Surely the logical thing would be for Scarlett to step up and co-host since she's already on the show?
They might be okay with BGT as I imagine the auditions and pre-recorded segments will have been done by now based on previous years. Hopefully he has time to recover before the live shows and if not, it's better for him to stay off than feel pressured to come back on to screen so quickly! |

BGT should be fine since it doesn't revolve around them, if he wasn't available they could easily just sick Stephen Mulhern on it since he's been presenting BGMT for 10 years now.

I imagine if they continue with the other two episodes, they won't use one person as a specific replacement but just increase Scarlett and Stephen's roles whilst maybe adding people already featured this series like Emma Willis/Joel Dommett so they all share the 'replacement role' in equal parts alongside Dec?

Part of me feels bad because he has such severe mental health issues, but I mean - drink driving, there isn't an excuse for that and a young girl was involved . |
