The progress and likely iTunes top 10 entry of Dude by Lethal Bizzle & Stormzy is the only thing that interests me this week. I couldn't give a shit about the overrated and over-exaggerated 2nd week sales of Adele's song at #1 (or anything else for that matter).

If anything we've been underestimating Adele's sales, to call them over-exaggerated is simply not true. They've been reported - as true in the midweek thread - and represent something pretty remarkable in the current (fairly dire) market whatever you may think of her/the song.

Over-exaggerate is actually in current use!

The OED has three citations from 1900, 1928 and 1984 supporting the sense of implying that the act of not only exaggerating, but exaggerating in a way that is excessive for the given context, or exaggerating to the point of absurdity.

For example: steve201 posted 35 times about OA/OS last week. exaggerating
steve201 posted 5,423,547,304,467 times in the last 5 minutes about OA/OS. Over-exaggerating

I think Colplay will get a week at number 1 in both the US & UK unless Adele is doing promo during the week they release.
