This might be an odd topic but then again it might just pan out. This is basically a simple topc to get, since we're all big movie biffs and whatnot, we are likely to add to our movie collections or buy something else movie related like books etc. so this is somewhere to post and discuss.

In terms of books, I'm reading The Martian at the moment and it's really enjoyable, some great humour.
Me and and Dad bought loads of movies today from CEX so we added quite a few to the collection: - An Education - The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford - The Blind Side - Crash - Inception - The King's Speech - The Last King of Scotland - Notes on a Scandal - Sleepers - The Theory of Everything - Unusual Suspects - Walk the Line |

I am new to Blu-Rays, so I need to get my Blu-Ray collection properly started. I think I have a nice collection now, but still want more!
Here's what I've bought this week though: - 'Fury' - 'Nightcrawler' - '[REC]' - 'The Departed' - 'The Guest' All 5 of which I've seen and loved, bar 'Nightcrawler' which I've seen, but only "liked" and it was in the "5 for £30" offer at HMV and I needed just ONE more But I've been meaning to give it another watch since the cinema so, hopefully my initial disappointment with it hasn't lingered. 'The Departed' I've not seen for a good 5 years, so I can't remember it too much, but I enjoyed it! The other three though <3 <3 <3 |

Don't really purchase DVD's that much anymore but I will use this thread to say what I recorded on Sky Movies and what I've added to my Netflix list I love DVD's but I just find it easier to stream online.
However, also there are two times though when I ask for a lot of DVD's so I still do get some I always ask for quite a lot on my birthday and quite a lot for Christmas! And it's really good as my birthday and Christmas are nearly 6 months apart so I can ask for the early hits of the year that I missed for birthday and the summer blockbusters for Christmas! |

I don't buy DVDs much (will be getting Brooklyn though obvs) but a couple of days ago I bought the book "The Light Between Oceans". The trailer looks so fantastic and I can't wait for the movie release (start of 2017 if it sticks) so had to take the plunge!

Went in HMV today and noticed they already had Dark Places on DVD so took a chance on that (and bought Brooklyn to make the most of 2 for £20). Should finally get around to watching it this week.
