right now I reckon they're doing very similarly, Solo is slightly ahead on Spotify and Jess slightly ahead on itunes
but on Fri-Sat Jess had a much clearer lead on itunes, so I think that will be enough to hold on, if they're even now (unless someone tweets Demi she could claim her first UK #1 and she gets the label to drop the price or buys 5000 copies herself) |

As long as Anne-Marie stays away I don't mind who's #1 this week. 'Solo' has grown on me a bit, I like that top 2 about the same amount now. Kinda still want Jess to snatch it just for her to extend her record for most #1s by a British female solo artist (even though the last two of them will have been entirely due to the arbitrary nature of ACR ) Interesting that we have a top 3 of Clean Bandit and two artists whose careers were effectively launched by Clean Bandit (I know 'Alarm' was before 'Rockabye' but she's got a lot bigger since then xx) Yeah, this please. Clean Bandit can snatch it next week. Jess Glynne seems to be really good at cheating herself to #1 anyway, even before ACR we had 'My Love', 'No Letting Go' and 'Don't Be So Hard On Yourself' which only went to #1 because of pre-orders (of course, 'Rather Be' and 'Hold My Hand' were helped by pre-orders too but they had multiple weeks at #1 and probably would have made it in the streaming era too). |

I can't remember the last time I hated a song that was a #1. There's been songs that I've been impartial to or would rather not listen to, but 'I'll Be There' is actively really bad.
Thankfully it's all rather close at the top at this stage. |

It’s an amazing album plus she had a signing - I’m pretty sure the twitter feud with Piers Morgan has helped send people to check it out. Not denying it’s an amazing album, massive surprise to me! Can’t stand her but it’s my album of the year, just shocked it’s top 5. |

I love both the JG and CB tracks and really want both to go number 1 but as JG has had 6 number 1s and DL has had none I want solo to go number 1 just a teeny bit more but either way DL going to get her highest charting single
Amazing Lily Allen is top 5 at this early considering how badly this era has flopped so far hopefully she can go top 10 overall |

It’s not really cheating though is it it’s more a case of benefitting from circumstances |

Honestly, it's about time for Ezra to get his first #1.
They need to get him for the John Lewis Christmas ad this year... |

ooh close for the #1, Solo would be the best option from the main contenders so i'd be cool with CB taking it, could manage a couple of weeks there until that Little Mix single [apparently] drops
Jorja doing good on the albums chart, the tracks are still holding up well on Spotify too. Thought Lily Allen might've managed a top 5 place but that looks unlikely |

Thankfully it's all rather close at the top at this stage. I find 'I'll Be There' is her weakest solo track. Also if it wasn't for Ariana Grande at #5 we would have had a British Top 5 for a change, mind you we have Demi featuring with Clean Bandit. So I guess since Demi is featuring on someone else's track, Clean Bandit would get the top bill if that makes any sense. |

It's so close this week in the top 3 that it could go any way. I have a feeling Jess may hold on but Clean Bandit will give their former featured singer a run for her money!

I hope steps can hold on in the top 20 with the live album and very happy to see Kylie on the rise,I hope she gets that 10th consecutivecweek top 40. |

Really don’t like I’ll Be There, but it’d be nice for Jess to get another number 1, but rooting for Clean Bandit tbh (although it feels weird since Clean Bandit can do much better than Solo)

Going to be close especially as Spotify is going to favour Solo so the uplift for the missing data may benefit it enough to bridge the gap.
I’ll be there is shite so hopefully something can stop it This post has been edited by ElectroBoy: 11th June 2018, 06:35 PM |

Hoping Jess Glynne will hold on to #1 through out the week. It would be great to see M-22 featuring Medina hit the top 20 . I've been following Medina's music releases as a solo act through out Europe for the past few years Danish and English tracks are all good
