Only seen two of these so whoops, I actually own The Tree of Life on DVD but it looks far too dull to even try out tbh...
I think Woody Allen would be my winner here, is film had that usual charm that makes his films so great so imo he was essential to the success of the film. Payne was good too but I preferred the screenplay he wrote for the film more than the direction which wasn't all that unique really. These be my winners for 2012: Best Picture: The Descendants Best Director: Woody Allen "Midnight in Paris" Best Actor: Brad Pitt "Moneyball" Best Actress: Glenn Close "Albert Nobbs" Best Supporting Actor: Kenneth Brannagh "My Week with Marilyn" Best Supporting Actress: Jessica Chastain "The Help" Best Original Screenplay: Bridesmaids Best Adapted Screenplay: The Descendants Best Animated Feature Film: Puss in Boots Best Original Score: War Horse Best Original Song: - Best Production Design: Harry Potter & Deathly Hallows Part 2 Best Cinematography: War Horse Best Makeup and Hairstyling: The Iron Lady Best Costume Design: - Best Film Editing: The Descendants Best Visual Effects: Harry Potter & Deathly Hallows Part 2 3 - The Descendants 2 - War Horse 2 - Harry Potter 1 - Midnight in Paris 1 - Moneyball 1 - Albert Nobbs 1 - My Week With Marilyn 1 - The Help 1 - Bridesmaids 1 - The Iron Lady 1 - Puss in Boots |
