Semi Final 2
Haven't listened to Semi 1 yet but for Semi 2 I think these songs should be guaranteed to qualify (doesn't necessarily mean I like them personally), especially since there's like 20 qualifiers: Aesthetica :: MOMOLAND - BBoom BBoom Bhangra :: Offer Nissim feat. Ania Bukstein - Rokedet East Rukahavian :: Bishop Briggs - White Flag Greenfroze :: Stenz - I Might Lotunia :: FAUN - Federkleid Tartford :: Vera Blue - Lady Powers United States of Jack :: Liv Dawson - Talk Unovia :: Robinson - Nothing To Regret But then again I don't really know BJSC's collective taste that well so I might be way off but these all feel like qualifiers to me and they're the songs that stand out the most to me and are the songs I remember best one day after listening. Regarding my own entry I have absolutely no idea how it'll fare. I would expect it to qualify since of course I personally think it's amazing but I could be in for a surprise based on the lack of interest it's garnered so far lol. These songs also stand out to me but not quite as much as the above listed tracks. Again this isn't my personal preference just what I gather from the songs: Aeroche :: Dave Silcox feat. Well to be fair your entry has generated about as much discussion as any other song in the contest so far if not more, with Cody and Addy both hyping it in your thread!  It's still pretty early in the voting period, the majority of people probably haven't started listening to the songs yet. (In any case there isn't usually ever that much discussion about individual songs in this forum, other than maybe the couple of songs right at the top of the odds).

Ohh okay thanks for clarifying that. Well, this is really only my debut contest so I’m excited to see what happens. It’s easy to be biased towards your own entry tho so I’ll refrain from making any OTT predictions despite how much I adore it 😂

This is a hard semi to call as its so light on pop nations that my normal metrics of what does well feel a bit skewed here. That aside Quintessa, FARC, Rolloland, Fljótavík, East Rukahavian, Unovia and tentatively myself (tentatively just because I think I'd be nailed on in any other semi, and one's own entry view is always a bit distorted) seem... I'd be very surprised if any of them were out. Which is a bit different to your list, Jafet but predicting BJSC is never an exact science and we're all wrong on occasion. |

Way more instant songs for me and I'm honestly putting songs in the likely column that would be in the very likely column in the other semi for me. I think Azure might get through on name alone even though I personally am not a fan of Kate Nash. FSR Rontvia, New Lexico and Singerpurear are very much my winner bets so far but there are strong contenders as well here such as Jadakissnia and Kluminican Republic. Republique d'Ashton has got some hype in the forum it seems so I'm putting that here even though I personally wasn't a fan. Ramrynia has begrudged the Armenian NF hype so it should be safe. In the likely column I have some songs that I very much hope do better than I'm predicting such as #00274E and Daehun which both are delivering solid bops but could fail to impress BJSC because I'm not entirely sure what the collective will think of songs like these. Mai Lan came 2nd in a previous edition, this entry probably won't do as well but I'd say it's a very likely qualifier. Riton's 'Rinse & Repeat' got a fair bit of love too (was too cheap to get entered though) so 'Fake ID' is similarly safe.
