Slightly premature removal for Catfish, R1 normally love them so I thought they'd get at least another couple of weeks. Jungle being booted off after 2 weeks is a little embarrassing, the last time a song lasted only 2 weeks on the playlist was last June.
P!nk and George Ezra are great additions. But Giggs straight to B-list? OK then  Oh, and Vampire Weekend being A-listed is a very pleasant surprise

I do wish they added Ellie. They could easily remove Ari, Georgia or Sam to accommodate this

I was worried for VW as they have had quite a few eras and a long time away, good to see A lid support. I assume Giggs is a late edition hence the instant Blidt add, his album was out last week!

Once again it turns out R1 were just waiting to add a song that people were complaining about them 'snubbing'. x (In fairness I wasn't sure if they were going to ever playlist Kehlani either but it's not unusual for them to be this late to playlisting things).
Great to see Vampire Weekend on the A-List  slow week otherwise. That new Sundara Karma song is actually surprisingly good though after them being pretty much the definition of Radio 1 filler before this.

Having said that, I just checked and at 5 weeks this is actually the longest any Catfish song has spent on the A-list, despite their last 11 consecutive singles being A-listed. Weird! |
