Aw, I prefer the giant amplifier cover over the white box cover - more often than not the label keeps going with my least preferred artwork! laugh.gif

A couple of the mixes have never been digitally available before. My favourite mix is Co Stars Epic Club Mix, but I like most of them. I'm not that fond of the Alternative Mix though.

Sadly they've not used this opportunity to include the original album version.

P.S. This is such a random criticism but I don't like the "Promo and Album Mix" tag. Originally its online tag was "New Mix - Promo and Single", which honestly I'm not keen on either. The Singles Box Set referred to it as the Single Mix, which is how I tag it! Oddly on all other Girls Aloud physicals it's included on, it doesn't have a tag at all. So if you buy a copy of The Sound of Girls Aloud on CD it's potluck whether you get the original album version or the single mix.

Oh same, the amplifier one is better. I wish that had been the cover for The Sound of Girls Aloud album!

On which note - if you have the limited 2 Disc version with the Rarities CD and pink cover, it's the original album version on that one.

I loved the Tony Lamezma remix of this one. It's such a serotonin rush!

All four versions of the video are now in 4K (although, bizarrely, "Something Kinda Ooooh" is yet to appear in restored form):

Original Version:

Kimberley Ending:

Tied-Up Ending:

Cash Ending:

I know it's not one of their popular singles but I really like their cover.

Very surprised they went to the effort of 4K for *every* version of the video!

I just checked out the covers and the other cover is SO much better!

We should do a covers rate sometime they have some excellent single covers.

I suppose they had the footage for all four. If I remember rightly, wasn't it they filmed all the endings and then mobile users (I wanna say Orange or 3) voted on the best one? I seem to remember the Kimberley one was the chosen one but they went with the cash one instead because that could be played before the watershed laugh.gif

Kimberley showing some semblance of a personality in her “flashing” ending.
