@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
In Friday's Chart Adele's 25 returned to No.1 for its 8th Week on top. Her No.1 Albums Weeks Total then rose to 32. Added to her 8 No.1 Weeks on top of the Singles Chart, this gave her a 40th Week at No.1 in the UK. She became only the 16th Act to reach 40 UK No.1 Weeks. She is the 2nd Artist, within a few Weeks, to reach 40 UK No.1 Weeks. In the Album Chart of W/E 11th February, David Bowie had his 40th No.1 Week. NOTE -- I've counted Evita, (1996), as a Madonna & Various Artists Album. It was No.1 for 1 Week in early 1997. If you only regard it as a Various Artists Album, then she has spent 29 Weeks at No.1 in the Album Chart & 58 Weeks at No.1 over-all. But, she would still at No.6 in the List even without Evita's No.1 Week. ARTISTS WITH THE MOST NUMBER 1 WEEKS IN THE UK CHARTS (Singles Weeks & Albums Weeks combined) S = SINGLES WEEKS -- A = ALBUMS WEEKS 1)... BEATLES -- 69 (S) + 174 (A) = 243 WEEKS 2)...
