I kinda pushed her to one side as I really think 'Hot Right Now' is all very much, "heard it before" and couldn't be arsed with it. However, 'Party & Bullshit' and 'R.I.P.' are both rather excellent! Looking forward to more stuff from her!

I used to REALLY dislike R.I.P but it's grown on me now. I still think it's a rather average song and I'm hoping for better from her but hey it's progress.

I think I'm becoming a little obsessed with her! I think this could be a massive hit for her. It'll be the 'Empire State of Mind' to 'R.I.P.''s 'Run This Town' I reckon. (Strange comparison, I know. But this is success scale as opposed to a musical scale) |

I think 'How We Do' is the lead single in the US. We'll get it after 'R.I.P.' I guess.

I can't believe it's taken me so long to listen to "R.I.P.", I only heard it for the first time this weekend! I loved "Hot Right Now", but this is one the next level. Love it, it sounds really fresh and different in comparison to what most other female artists are doing at the moment, she's showing a lot of promise. I hope it does really well in the long run.
"How We Do (Party)" is a bit more pedestrian, but enjoyable nonetheless, I hope her other stuff is more like "R.I.P.". ("Roc The Life" sounds promising) |

R.I.P. is boring. It doesn't climax or reach any new heights after the first minute. It sounds like it doesn't know what it's trying to be. The bit sampling Nneka is the best part of the song. Not sure why it's such a big hit.

I think 'How We Do' is the lead single in the US. We'll get it after 'R.I.P.' I guess. As far as I know, we're not getting How We Do. Pretty sure she said in an interview 'probably not' when asked if it would be released here - but things change, if it does well in the US, maybe they will bring it here. |

Another few live performances of new songs:
She is a good live performer, but 'Facemelt' sounds terrible. This post has been edited by Davidson: 7th May 2012, 05:30 PM |

I really hope we get 'How We Do (Party)' as the next UK single! I love it so much and it would be perfect for summer!
Any news on what it will be yet? |

I've heard How We Do (Party) on the radio a couple of times, with the presenters saying it's her "new single" so I'm guessing it's the second UK single.
Also, the title of her album is Ora and it's released in September. Oh and she's performing on Good Morning America on Tuesday. |

'How We Do (Party)' will smash. I can genuinely see her being as big as Rihanna was during her 2nd era ('SOS'/'Unfaithful' - it's too soon to say she'll be as big as Rihanna was during the GGGB era and I think she's more popular than when Rihanna was starting out with 'Pon De Replay'/'If It's Lovin''/'Music Of The Sun'-era). She seems to have gone straight in, head first. It's going to pan out well for her I reckon. Especially as she'll no doubt get an X Factor performance this year and seems to have gone down very well with everyone when she was a guest judge!

Really happy 'How We Do (Party)' is the next single, stumbled onto it about a week ago on youtube I was obsessed with it for a few days. It's very instant. Is there any news on when they may drop the album?

^ Chris said a couple of posts up it's called Ora and is out in September
I like the album title a lot, it's kind of self titled but also a good play on words! So glad How We Do is the next single, it's so fun and summery, took a few months to grow admittedly but now I just love! Nothing we've not heard before, but it's just perfect for a July or (more likely) August release, it's gonna be huge too - I can see her being as big as Jessie J actually by the end of this era. |
