I do quite like Bale but he does irritate me at times with his often over-the-top performances. He's like a slightly more bearable Johnny Depp laugh.gif

Anyway:
1 The Fighter
2 American Hustle
3 The Big Short

I can't deny his win for The Fighter at all, he was brilliant and completely stole the show, not surprised he pretty much sweeped for that performance. He's good in American Hustle but overshadowed by the rest of the cast really, still a fun character though! He was a bit annoying in The Big Short but still a decent performance so I can see why the Oscars went for it. In my opinion, Steve Carrell would have made a better nominee for the same film and I preferred Ryan Gosling too!
