It has been reported by this site which I believe is usually reliable that Selena Gomez, who has previously announced plans to change record label, will release a Greatest Hits album with Hollywood Records so she can complete her - what seems to be - 5 album contract with them.
The site I've linked to above says: QUOTE Gomez is presently working on a couple of new tracks for a greatest hits collection that will be her final release under her current Disney deal, after which she’ll be a free agent. Selena probably does have enough singles to have a Greatest Hits but I can't see it being a great success. At least we get a few new songs though! |

Lol.
"Come & Get It" was a fab song/single but they failed to build momentum on it... If she released another album of pop songs in a similar style to that, I'd be all for it, but a greatest hits is just lazy and appeals to approximately no one. |

I dunno... she sat on "Stars Dance" for a long ass time and had barely any creative input in it. She likes having hit singles, so she'll push singles out for a while.

She is easily the worst of the Disney stars imo, Come & Get It was horrificly bland and I do not understand why it is held in such high regard?! She has next to no personality as well.

Apparently this is being released in December according to various articles including this one so we'll have to see if we get any confirmation from Selena herself.
