IF Misundaztood had been her debut?

Would Can’t Take Me Home have fared better had that been its follow up.

Don’t know what’s making me post this just intrigued at peoples thoughts!

I personally feel it would’ve done around the same tbh sales wise but possibly with a higher peak maybe like how Try This did.

I do feel though that reviews may have been worse for CTMH if it was her second album as Misundaztood is more personal and mature sounding. Just interested to see what people’s thoughts are.

It may have had a higher peak off the back of previous success but the change in sound could have put people off. It’s solid for an RnB album but it does sound dated. It’s very 2000.

I think it worked out the right way.
Misundaztood showed progression and helped alleviate her career.
If the albums came the other way round i feel the same could not be said.

I agree with your point Pippa.

It would’ve also perhaps put her in a bad position for album 3...

I do feel if her first two were released the other way around that Can’t Take Me Home would’ve done better but Try This would’ve probably sold a lot less off the back of that.

That would have destroyed her career the moment it was released if it was her second album.
