One of my favourite songs of the last few months from a band that show a lot of promise. So so good. |

Oh wow, I absolutely loved that!
Felt really divine, and sort of reminded me of The Cranberries or something of the sort. But, a really sort of rich tone and feel about it, what a gorgeous song. NGL though, the idiot in me just really winced when that guy went for the frisbee in the pylon things tho This post has been edited by Robot: 24th October 2012, 05:58 PM |

Bumping this up. 'Wings' was incredible and it looks like they're getting a major push now.
New single 'All The Days' is on Elle's blog: http://www.elle.com/news/culture/haerts-brooklyn-band LOVE this. |

Oh now that's another winner for me. Really loving their sound, great stuff.
In fact... 20 mins later and I'm still listening on repeat... so need an album from them. |

I wish that I lived in America so that I could see these guys play next month. Absolutely in love with "All The Days" right now, and "Wings" was also brilliant. Need an album please!

They will release an EP next month on Columbia records:
QUOTE One of Columbia Record’s baby bands Haerts have finally announced a debut EP and release date. Hemiplegia is scheduled for release on September 17 and will include previously released tracks “Wings” and “All The Days.” Aside from these two songs, it will also include the as yet unheard title track and another brand new song called “All For You.” The EP was produced by Jean-Philip Grobler of fellow New York band and Columbia signee St. Lucia. So no Heart then? Shame as the live version sounded lovely. I have a strong feeling this EP will be played A LOT through the winter chezkm.

The EP has been delayed.
According to the band, it will now be out: QUOTE 10/08/2013!!! Which in PROPER DATE writing reads as 08 OCTOBER 2013. Bloody America *Shakes fist* Can't even write dates properly. Plus: releasing albums on Tuesdays. Just no. It's like having Top of the Pops on a Sunday instead of a Thursday - really, really stupid and quite frankly NOT ON. My neighbours appear to be using to process of THROWING EVERYTHING DOWN THE STAIRS to move out so I am blasting Haerts out to deal with it all
Here is the title track from the EP: |

A wise move indeed.
Loving the title track, definitely one that rewards repeated plays... They seem to be moving things forward at a glacial pace though, two new tracks is good news but the album will be in 2016 at this rate. Although happy to wait that long if it means the time taken results in songs as good as everything released so far. |

Yeah, so good to finally hear it, but agreed with Dandy that it is definitely worth the wait (the EP incidentally is now out on 22nd October...)
Hopefully a BBC Sound of '14 nomination and an album early next year! |

On the basis of what we've heard thus far I think they are going to become one of my favourite acts.
Don't know if anyone agrees but there is something ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE and EPIC about them. I can literally wax lyrical about them. The vocal is fabulous, the structure of their songs amazing and almost like a journey, instrumentally it's all so powerful. They aren't songs, more like EVENTS I love music but what in the capacity of what already exists, as it is released. I actually CAN'T WAIT for their next release or their album. |

The EP has leaked, and the one remaining song is a bit disappointing to me but it doesn't matter too much when the previous three are so f***ing fantastic. <3

Hemiplegia (track) for Christmas #1 please. It's so accessible, why aren't plastered over the radio yet?

Hemiplegia (track) for Christmas #1 please. It's so accessible, why aren't plastered over the radio yet? It is A-listed on the Doctor Blind iPod. Odds have slashed to 5/1 for Christmas number 1. It debuted at 35 last week. The above has nothing to do with the official chart sadly. |

Scratch album it's going to be an OPUS
I don't see any uk hype which worries me for sound of 14. Though at this stage the label plan is probably for a mid 2016 push after 3 more EPs, sequential non-album singles for some sort of singles club an art exhibit and a book. |
