According to one of 7th Heaven who has remixed it, it's not a cover of Delta - just a song that happens to have the same title.
*edit, he just interjected with this: "I was wrong - it is the same song - You would think I would know! LOL"

kinda think Friday might have been better if they were gonna be so cheap This is a VERY good cover. I can see how it might be considered a lesser SOTD, the key change near the end is very similar |

Not taken over by their new single. It's good but it is like a watered down version of what they've already done on the album. Maybe it'll be a grower.

I like it, though it's far from Delta's best song to start with and it doesn't match the holy trinity of the singles released from the main album.
I think they'd have made a better job of quite a few other recent Delta songs like Wings for example, which has lots of sweeping disco strings anyway. They feel a little shoehorned in on this track. This post has been edited by gooddelta: 19th September 2017, 01:48 PM |
