This is like Xtinas ARTPOP like era.
A good album plagued by promo and single choices. The ballads are all fantastic and I also love Little Dreamer too a brilliant album only track what’s not actually on streaming sites (well it’s not on the one I use ). The title track too was a smash waiting to happen as was Woohoo. The second disc is pure fire! The first disc is good but a bit too long I could do without Elastic Love and Sex for Breakfast. The album cover too is one of my favourites of this decade. I so wish this album slayed. |

Little Dreamer is incredible! One of my favourite Christina songs. While I didn't think much of the album overall at the time it has really grown on me over the years and I actually think it's pretty good now, it's just too many songs she could have a killer album is she cut a few out.

You Lost Me is the #1 video on UK iTunes.
Why didn’t her fans just have the campaign be download the song. Really hope we get a Justice for Bionic impact though for the tenth anniversary. (A return to #29 would be iconic) |

(A return to #29 would be iconic) I'm assuming because the video chart takes next to no downloads to get it to #1, so they're basically avoiding embarrassment of having a campaign stall at #457. Expectations - keep them low and you'll succeed. |

A good album plagued by promo and single choices. I think it was more than that. UK radio snubbed the era if I remember right and she got criticised for apparently copying Gaga despite saying years earlier she wanted to released a throwback album (Back to Basics) followed by a futuristic, electronic one. Gaga breaking through in the middle of albums made Xtina look reductive. I'm still gutted You Lost Me never followed in the footsteps of Beautiful and Hurt. It's a gorgeous ballad and her vocals are stunning. I can't believe it's never been used on a high-profile talent show - it oozes emotion and drama. |

The claim she was copying Gaga is SO annoying, she was literally working on this sound in 2008 when Gaga hadn’t released an album. It’s such an amazing album I mean it’s not for the faint hearted but if you get it you get it Stronger than Ever and Bobblehead are filler but in a 20 track album (excluding those pointless interludes :’)) that’s not bad!! The problem is that she left it too long and none of the futuristic songs make amazing singles. I honesty like Your Body would’ve smashed if it was this album’s lead |

The Gaga comparassions were to be expected and played a part but I definitely feel if we got some promo in the UK we could’ve had slightly more success at least enough to go gold. But the album was soon adandoned after release as well where as Stripped and Back to Basics had quite lengthy promo campaigns and a tour!
Then there’s the gap between records being rather long too. It’s so underrated though there’s some great tracks on Bionic |

I think one thing which probably played a big part in her downfall was taking 4 years between albums. I mean, of course radio and a large chunk of your audience are going to have moved on in that time. |

My thoughts on the deluxe tracks is that Bobblehead aside they’re generally better than a lot of the standard tracks.
Monday Morning, Stronger Than Ever, Birds of Prey, the stripped I am and Little Dreamer are The decision to put those as deluxe tracks was crazy! |

I mean, of course radio and a large chunk of your audience are going to have moved on in that time. I think it's also down to the fact that it didn't live up to the futuristic sound that was promised and a lot of the stuff either felt like reheated stuff that some of the collaborators had done between 2005-2009 and the other half felt like record-label intervention. I find it funny that so many people are looking at this project with rose-coloured glasses now. |

Yes, it was a flop. But considering she'd had a four year gap, limited airplay and terrible press it...could've been worse? It's difficult to complain about a 24k opening these days as awful as it would've been back then Surprised it didn't sell 24k a day tbh the GP truly did her dirty :rip: I can't believe she hasn't had a solo hit since 2007
