Welcome to Round 15 of Least Fave Destiny's Child single, and we finally say goodbye to "Bootylicious" which finishes in 5th place, and after a very close battle along with "IW", which was just 1 vote behind. "Bootylicious" finally gained the most votes with 8, which isn't too bad, considering how popular it's been throughout the other rounds and we are now near the finishing point. Honestly I'm quite surprised that this leaves now, considering how well known and popular it is, and the fact that it's one of their many signature hits. But oh well maybe it's overplay killed it for the Buzzjack voters.

Personally I would have put this in the final 3 at least, but oh well. For starters what can I say about this brilliant piece of pop, that hasn't already been said. Yes it's definitely one of their most iconic masterpieces from them, or any girl group in history and it's status is well deserved and can you think of another Destiny's Child song that has this level of excellence and brilliance, (well yes I can), but for the general public and casual listeners, and even it's title has become so prominent that it's been added to the Oxford English Dictionary, defined as a woman who is sexually attractive. Although the term "Bootylicious" was first used by Snoop Dogg in 1992, in one of his songs, but these girls made it even more memorable. With it's prominent sample of Stevie Nick's "Edge Of Seventeen" guitar riff, it instantly hooks you in with it's stellar hooks and funky bassline, that will always be remembered until the end of time.

Released in May 2001 as the 3rd single from their 3rd album "Survivor", the song became a massive success by becoming their 4th and final #1 hit in the USA, and to date no other girl group has topped the USA Top 100 since. In the UK it also found success by reaching #2, held of the top spot by Atomic Kitten's "Eternal Flame", and becoming another big hit for them. Elsewhere it hit top 5 in Netherlands, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland and Norway, as well as top 10 peaks in Belgium and Sweden, then finally top 20 mostly everywhere else.
