no Pharrell Williams??
oh never mind me - just realised the title meant British artists. amazing to see Mark Ronson with that much paid-for sales though, it was released when streaming was starting to really take over the chart too. |

Has anyone attempted a decade-to-date chart for the 2010s? If so, where can I find it?

Has anyone attempted a decade-to-date chart for the 2010s? If so, where can I find it? Here's what I think you're talking about up to date to June last year, so it's relatively accurate with maybe the exception of a few newer songs.. http://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/o...revealed__9873/ I'm sure someone else has a more concise version than this though. |

39. [33] Adele -- Set Fire To The Rain :: 715k
Is this the biggest selling non-top 10 hit of all time in UK? Can't believe it didn't make it...probably my favourite Adele song of all time. This post has been edited by Karma: 9th February 2016, 10:04 AM |

There's a handful of non-Top 10s that have outsold 'Set Fire to the Rain' now: 'Let It Go', 'I'm Yours', 'Radioactive' and 'A Thousand Years' for instance.

Really? According to a Music Week article in November, Make You Feel My Love was on 955,055 (over 1 million with streams, but that's not important)

Uptown Funk's now at number 4 on the biggest sellers of the decade - only outsold by Happy, Blurred Lines and Someone Like You. Although unbelievably, Someone Like You still hasn't gone 3x Platinum yet, whereas Uptown Funk's more than halfway to 4x Platinum

The power of streaming sales!
Still yet to have a confirmed million seller since* Uptown Funk. *As in a single that has sold a million digital/physical copies that was released AFTER Uptown Funk. |

Looks like Adele will have at least 4 million sellers by the end of the decade - "Someone Like You"/"Rolling In The Deep"/"Hello"/"Make You Feel My Love". "Skyfall" looks like it has a good chance of hitting the million mark too.

I suppose Hello will make it at some point. The question is whether anything will ever become a million seller within a year of release any more. |
