For my uni work i am looking into the basis of new and old Take that fans and was wondering if anyone would like to be asked and answer a couple of questions about their Take That loving, from experiances, concerts and other parts of what being a take that fan means to you? cheer.gif

1.What era of Take that do you prefer? Old or new and if so why?

2. Does your love of the band come with the feeling of Nostalgia? Or is it a love with the new music they bring?

3. If a new fan what made you start listening to their stuff?

Thankyou so much!

1/ Beautiful World, Circus, Progress - recent work too middle of the road./boring. First two albums - I didn't really know their music too well, but liked Back For Good

2. Yes to nostalgia as not keen on last two albums

3/ Not a new fan, but became a fan after Gary Barlow launched solo career following band break up

I prefer their new era material from Beautiful World onwards but I also liked their older material and followed them from the beginning really. I think the newer material is more credible and less boyband style. I like them because they continue to release good music and have their own unique style. Gary is a great singer in the band and on a solo basis.
