Out of all Take That's material across all studio albums which songs do you think would be the best and appropriate for tonight benefit? I'm guessing they'll be limited to three songs possibly?

Greatest Day,
Rule The World,
The Flood,
Giants,
Mancunian Way,
Patience,
Reach Out,
Beautiful World,
The Garden,
Eight Letters,
Higher Than Higher,
New Day,
Hope.

They have so many songs that would portray a great message however am guessing they may throw in a fun lighter song as well.

Gary confirmed that they are performing 3 songs tonight. My guess is "Back For Good", "Shine" and "Rule The World".

Shine and Rule The World seem to be the two most commented by people on twitter from soundcheck however the third song is a mystery.

Shine I can see as a good choice and their 'up' song as it were. Back For Good am not sure about in this setting so the third song if it was me picking I'd go for either:

Giants (one most commented as one of the 3), New Day or Patience possibly. Lots of people want Never Forget or Hope though.

My guess is if Shine and Rule the World have been heard at soundcheck then potentially the Robbie surprise is the 3rd mystery song potentially as he is following them on the setlist. Am sure they'll smash it with all the songs they do and being the first act on is also great as peak times usually are at the beginning and end of these type of concerts.

I'm hearing Giants will be the second song they sing. The lyrics and the meaning will resonate well

From looking in the chart threads etc it looks like they haven't benefited nearly as much as others who performed.

I thought them going on first would help them (like Status Quo at Live Aid etc) however like you say it does seem they have gotten lost as the night went on. The performance was received well and Shine really got the place going.
The cheer when they were announced was huge also and definitely equal to any of the others coming out on stage.

I didn't really like any of Arianas music except the My Everything ballad with the choir which was great however she is young and very much in her pop phase overall Liam Gallagher was the star for me.

I did believe the individual songs they performed would have received a bigger chart boost as they were received well. That said, Take That may likely benefit in the album chart, the Ultimate Collection for example may make a reappearance on the chart, and ideally Wonderland will receive a sales increase.

I too thought Liam Gallagher was excellent and i wasn't expecting such a strong set from him, it was wonderful to hear belt out some of the classic Oasis songs.
