Nothing that hugely excites me this week.
Every time I see Olly Murs - Seasons, it pains me that it's not 'Did You Miss Me'. |

Yay at more Circa Waves support, T-shirt Weather is already one of their best. Unbelievably excited for their album after how good Young Chasers, Fossils, T-shirt Weather and to a lesser extent, So Long.

Echoing the comments of a snoozefest of a playlist.
I was hoping for Josef, Jessie and Marina adds. It's also a shame Radio 1 have chosen to snub Cheryl when she's finally come out with a decent song. |

No Kanye they need to get on board with oa/os releases because so many people are desperate to hear songs as soon as they premiere and instead it's the same old here. The buzz for 'All Day' is huge, you'd think the station would respond to that? Yawn.

The song came out the same day the playlist was finalised and Kanye is not the kind of artist to give advance notice of these things to (British, even) radio stations. I don't get what you're saying. "the same old here" - Radio 1 are generally much quicker to react to OA/OS than any other commercial radio station and waiting one week for Kanye doesn't change that. The playlist is boring but on this subject they've done nothing to warrant such complaints. |

I thought they usually had the playlist meeting in the afternoon and it was announced pretty much straight after?

The playlist is boring but on this subject they've done nothing to warrant such complaints. Oh, i didn't know exactly when the playlist was finalised but assumed it was earlier today. And the "same old" comment refers to new songs from artists on their 3rd/4th singles from an album getting continued support when there is so much more music from artists beginning campaigns that could do with the boost too. Like Josef Salvat and Marina as Joe suggested, for two examples. I think i'm just being a little disgruntled because i opened the thread expecting to see Kanye looking at the playlist more carefully now and it's diverse and wide-ranging but i just rolled my eyes at most of the new additions. |

It is possible it's Wednesday now (in which case they're just a bit slow off the starting blocks I guess?) but I know it was Monday in the somewhat recent past at least. They may have changed it |

Bit bizarre that they still aren't supporting Marlon Roudette's song. Very commercial and radio 1 friendly. Baffling~

I guess they could be waiting to see how Kanye holds up into next week maybe. As they're supported oa/os releases that have been heavily front-loaded in the past.

'Only One' wasn't added until a couple of weeks after its release I think? So maybe they're doing the same with 'All Day'. I really hope they are going to playlist it anyway.
