Just thought we'd start doing these occasionally. Keep some interest and activity going in the forum!
Can we get some love for 'Towers' going? Probably my favourite non-single. I know everyone else prefers the likes of 'Nothing Feels Like You', 'These Four Walls' and 'A Different Beat' from the 'Salute' album, but I really feel this is the true gem. This was the 'Secret Love Song' of the the 'Salute' era imo. Could've been big! Such a powerful, roaring, mid-tempo ballad! I think I'd have had this as single 2, over 'Little Me'. 01. 'Move' 02. 'Towers' >> Premier performance on the XF final. << 03. 'Little Me' >> Sport Relief single. << 04. 'Salute' >> BGT << 05. 'Nothing Feels Like You' >> Summer single. << --- BREAK for 'Get Weird' era --- |

Towers is flawless, definitely one of the strongest off the album. It's such a powerful moment
I agree with that singles release completely, though as much as I'f have loved Nothing Feels Like You to have been released. I would have released Mr Loverboy because it's a jam, and would have been a great summer song |

This is gorgeous, definitely their best ballad behind SLS. I agree it should have been the second single, Little Me is very nice but this is the much better ballad, it's bigger and would've been amazing performed on a big platform like X Factor. I think it might my favourite non-single too, the only one I can think that comes close is Hair maybe? Hair, this and Love Me Or Leave Me >>>>>>>
I love These Four Walls as well, just as stunning as Towers really but it wouldn't have had the same chance as a single. I love their harmonies in the last chorus so much though so I'd also have loved an X Factor or BGT perf of that I wouldn't release both in the same era though, and Towers definitely should have the opportunity <3 |

Towers was the one I instantly loved from "Salute". These Four Walls was a grower, but it's just as amazing. Towers is just bigger, production is better and more powerful. I could see it being a hit, while T4W I couldn't.
But I don't know it would have worked as the 2nd single from Salute.. Only if, as you said, it was performed on a HUGE platform |

Probably my favourite track on 'Salute' bar 'Move'. Such a lovely song! I agree with you re it being the second single. A run of 'Salute' (I still think it should've preceded 'Move') > 'Move' > 'Towers' > 'Nothing Feels Like You' would have been sublime. And if we're talking perfect campaigns, 'Red Planet' should've been released instead of 'Change Your Life'.
