So... the last chart of the tracking year!

And in a fast-paced, highly competitive chart week, the #1 is a bit of a surprise: Twenty One Pilots receive their third #1 in the form of UK-only single "Lane Boy"! Last Christmas, they were also at the #1 spot with "Stressed Out", which means this is the second year in a row they have received the Christmas #1. This major leapfrog move kicks Hey Violet and Dua Lipa down a place, while the top 5 sees two new contenders for the top spot. Machine Gun Kelly continues to make steady gains as "Bad Things" propels to #4, and "In My Mind" provides the first top 5 for Maty Noyes. It's a row of firsts for the top 10 debut, "Suburbia", marking the first top 10 for Kilian & Jo, as well as vocalist Erik Rapp. Three songs enter the top 20 (one of which is a big surprise). Clean Bandit rise 10 spots to gain their second-highest peaking song with "Rockabye". ("Rather Be" peaked at #8 - could this do better?) Bebe Rexha is once again the greatest gainer with "I Got You" shifting up 12 spots to #17. And in a slight turn of events, "Ignite" jumps 10 spots to #20. Could this keep Zedd's top 10 streak alive? And with another Conor-related release, could they be fighting for that #1 again? One song enters the top 30: Britney Spears finally sparks some action as "Slumber Party" jumps up 5 spots to #27. Rain Man is the sole debut of the top 40 as his collab with vocalist Krysta Youngs, "Habit", reaches #37 this week.

Three songs debut this week: Miley Cyrus once had five songs charting simultaneously in 2014 - now it's her sister Noah's turn to take the spotlight: "Make Me (Cry)" debuts at #43. We also have a *late* debut for NEIKED's "Sexual" at #45, and it wouldn't be a Cody chart without a CanCon - Courage My Love's "Stereo" debuts at #50.

Sia and The Weeknd tie for biggest dropper as "The Greatest" and "Starboy" drop 7 spots to #25 and #22 respectively. In its 33rd week, "Into You" drops two spots to #46.
