Welsh hip hop group Goldie Lookin Chain got let off the chain as their track 'Guns Don't Kill People, Rappers Do' gets tossed out first. It peaked at number 3. "With the tagline "The gun is the tool, the mind is the weapon", in this track the band satirised the perceived link between American hip hop and gun violence, referencing several rap murders." The video is shot in Watford and sees the group doing a mock police line up and being chased on mobility scooters. Actor Perry Benson best know for You Rang M'Lord? and appearances in Benidorm is the police officer. Andrew Ellis who plays Gadget in the film This Is England also appears. The group had 5 other top 40 hits between 04 and 05 and then split up.. Maggot from the group took part in and came 3rd in Celebrity Big Brother in 2006!
10. Goldie Lookin Chain - Guns Don't Kill People, Rappers Do (18/36 Votes) [51.43%] Vote Your Least Fave! |

I had to give Watergate - Heart of Asia a play on YouTube... I have zero recollection of ever having heard it before, even though it was evidently a big hit in 2000! Judging by Spotify it's become forgotten, it only has 1.8m streams (that can be considered low). Anyway, I like it!
My vote probably has to be Lil Chris |

Yeah same here. It's one I vaguely recognised but had to check out again a few weeks back. Also a fan!
