Pronouns: he/him Joined: 19 April 2011 Posts: 121,711 User: 13,530	I'm gonna get a bit soppy post-results which I don't usually do but I hope y'all will allow me this x TARO Bellamia's entry this month, Fade Out by Seeb, Olivia O'Brien and Space Primates, finished 5th in the final. This marks our second best finish EVER, trailing only tyDi and Kerli's Something About You, all the way back in the 57th contest - summer 2013! Here's a few little bullet points about what this means: - Our best result this year quite comfortably - outdoing Bea Miller's 20th position two months ago. - Our second best result EVER. - Only the second top 5 hit, following #4 hit Something About You by tyDi featuring Kerli (contest 57). - Fourth top 10 hit out of 64 entries (!), following Something About You, Moment Like You by Lia Marie Johnson (#10, contest 72) and High by Jesper Jenset (#9, contest 85). - First time in the top 10 in three years. - Highest points total ever, displayed below alongside every result from the 18 point system. I always go into this contest with low expectations, so for a top 5 result to be the outcome is always pleasing. In fact, qualifying for the final is an achievement in my eyes. It's never guaranteed, certainly not going by TARO Bellamia's record, so my aim is to qualify and anything beyond that is a bonus. Top 20 is incredible, I got so excited when Bea Miller hit #20 two months ago upon my return, so top 10 is off the scale. I don't enter BJSC just for hits, I love to discover new music. That said, good results mean that people discovered music from you, and that's a pretty awesome feeling.
