Presumably that's mostly down to concert ticket bundles though (there are extremely few albums these days that would be able to sell that much in the US without them), don't think it's indicative of much as far as the UK goes. I could see him beating the opening of his debut album though whereas I'm not sure if Stormzy will.

No leaks yet then? Wasn't there a guy who used to claim to have early info on Twitter?

Neil Claxton (Mint Royale)? If so, I don't think he had posted any midweeks information for a long time. I think he has left the music business or at least has stopped being an active recording artist. Also he appears to have deleted his twitter account.

There is a bundle deal where the concert tickets for North America gave you a digital download (although they only count if you activate the download) having said that, they’re expecting 330-350k being physical albums (he’s apparently sold really well in vinyl) and the rest being streams and downloads. So even if you take away the bundle deal, the album would still have sold up to 350k, which is still really impressive...

The sales from the bundles count towards the 330-350k - unfortunately Billboard does not disclose the breakdown of pure sales of just the album vs. sales coming from the bundles but albums released with concert ticket bundles always have massively inflated pure sales numbers compared to those that don't (see for example Coldplay's new album which had no bundles as they're not touring this album, and ended up charting at only #7 when it'd likely have been easily contending for the top spot if they'd had a tour bundle). That's not at all knocking his success, him managing to shift that many bundles is still impressive in itself, and the streaming equivalent sales for the album are also looking pretty strong, it's just that the UK chart does not include bundle sales like the US does so its huge total there is not indicative that it's going to have a huge total here as well.

Oh I see...

Yeah, it’s not gonna sell as well over here obviously but I’m still expecting it to do well😊

Harry is looking at a 420-440k number 1 spot in the US. I know it won’t sell as many as that in the U.K. but if it’s anything to go by, he should do well here too😁

Every song on his album was top 20 in the US on Spotify yesterday, and top 50 globally. He's going to do incredibly worldwide, but ironically could fall short in his home country.

It wasn't a distrust of his figures, he received the midweeks - it was his interpretation of them (i.e. not realising that streaming data was not added and the Saturday midweeks were massively biased in favour of sales).

Any ideas of what could possibly go top 40 singles this week other than maybe a stormzy album track , a harry styles album track and more xmas songs. Hopefully Bobby Helms i would love to see in the top 40 as its never been there.

Juice WRLD should climb in with Lucid Dreams now that it has been reset to SCR.

Nah LadBaby will definitely be #1 on First Look, Ellie might be too high again if Amazon has been reporting faster than other streaming services again but no way she comes close to LadBaby when First Look significantly overweights pure sales.
