Here we many pointless answers mainly due to the face that many directors could be a auteur to a stretch (just as long as they are directors and not just producers) . From Wes Anderson, Woody Allen, David Lynch and Quintin Tarintino. Even we have international auteurs such as Hayao Miyasaki and Aki Kaurismäki. Alfred Hitchcock, James Cameron and Stanley Kurbrick are the only ones not to be pointless. So great answers here

The other answers 24 Hour party People, How To Lose Friends and Alienate people, Run Fatboy Run and Star Treck all gained 1 point. However sad news for Chez, Spadam, Notfurlong, Mack and Joe as Big Nothing for them scored 4 points.

Here have the visionary Wes Anderson who I would say is known for using the same actors in his films, having beautiful colors within his scenery, great cinematography and lovely mise en scene. Only two pointless answers here Bottle Rocket (which was also a short film FACT and was his major film debut), The Royal Tenenbaums is also pointless this round.
Fantastic Fox and The Grand Budapest Hotel both scored 1 point. Rushmore, The Moonrise Kingdom The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou all scored 2 points. The big pointed for this round is The Darjelling Limited scores three points.
In terms of incorrect answers we have, Hotel Chevalier which was a short film not a feature length movie. Wes Anderson does not have a film titled Its Wes under his name Dobbo. Alvin and the Chipmunks 4 was not directed by Wes Anderson, in fact it was directed by Walt Becker. Same with The Matrix which was directed by The Wachowski Brothers not Wes Anderson. Finally he was only a producer on The Squid and the whale NOT a director.

^that applied to Q2 but the same could be said for Q3 argh! I almost put the Royal Tenenbaums too. Love the question tho, one of my favourite directors

Plenty of Pointless answers here, the main point of a parody is poke fun of a genre, conventions of genres or even themselves (take Enchanted for example) most people understood that. Scary movie gained one point and recent released movie Fifty Shades of black scored 3 points. The only incorrect answer was Dobbo’s was that is more of a documentary concert film. Everyone else bagged a pointless.

Again really open question with a range of genres. A tragic ending a movie really is defined as ‘A tragic event or situation is extremely sad, usually because it involves death or suffering’ which I felt like all these films had that. Take the two horror movies usually in horror movies you have a survivor/s at the end however in those two films all characters that are tormented are killed off. Two answers that were not pointless were Titanic and The Mist.

For this question I was looking for a gangster movie character. It doesn’t have to be a gangster but has to be from a gangster movie. Most people got Pointless again. Jack character earned 1 points, Johnny Dillinger earned 1 points and Frank Costello earned 2 points.
Reasons why the innocrrect answers are incorrect:
• Mr Big is really from a family animated film, I was asking for gangster movie although the character is a gangster, nice try though.
• Domino Harvey is taken from an action movie which I don’t know if it’s a gangster movie because according to wiki there is no mention of gangster or mobster etc. I have had doubts about this one and even asked for a second opinion. Feel free to debate it though as I want to hear your view on it Micheal.
• Carl ‘CJ’ Johnson – From a video game not a movie.
• The Godfather – The godfather isn’t his name in the godfather series. Its Vito Corleone. The Godfather is merely a nickname or what he is known as.

She was an L.A bounty hunter in real life, and the movie looks at money deals and shoot-outs, so in a broad sense she is a gangster character I think.

Great and unique pointless answers such as Lotti’s and Notfurlong’s answers
. Anyway Bre and Leonardo go for the AXE used in The Shining. Chez and Josh put down the chainsaw used in Texas Chain Massacre. Jack and Jonjo both use the noose used in The 2015 film The Gallows. Here is where I was a tad harsh, Dobbo, Jahq and Ethan all used a different type of knife but I think all types of knives are standard and basic horror weapons and tbh all knifes have the same purpose in comparison to a hacksaw and a chainsaw. Fell free to argue a case back.

Not surprisingly, Indiana Jones was the most used, as Dobbo, Jack, Jahq and Meekul put down Indiana Jones aka the title character from the franchise.

Here have the visionary Wes Anderson who I would say is known for using the same actors in his films, having beautiful colors within his scenery, great cinematography and lovely mise en scene. Only two pointless answers here Bottle Rocket (which was also a short film FACT and was his major film debut), The Royal Tenenbaums is also pointless this round.
Fantastic Fox and The Grand Budapest Hotel both scored 1 point. Rushmore, The Moonrise Kingdom The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou all scored 2 points. The big pointed for this round is The Darjelling Limited scores three points.
In terms of incorrect answers we have, Hotel Chevalier which was a short film not a feature length movie. Wes Anderson does not have a film titled Its Wes under his name Dobbo. Alvin and the Chipmunks 4 was not directed by Wes Anderson, in fact it was directed by Walt Becker. Same with The Matrix which was directed by The Wachowski Brothers not Wes Anderson. Finally he was only a producer on The Squid and the whale NOT a director.
Why can't a short film be included? I demand a recount!

I used a gangster movie character, who's used in Zootroplois as a parody, (Mr Big) which wasn't accepted and fluffed me over but. If it had been accepted I would have won the game with 0 points, so I'm pleased with my own little victory there.
