At least most of the top 10 left are good! Apart from Baby of course. I would really like BAAB to win. Amazing song and it was produced by Zedd too

'Eenie Meenie'
Surprised '#thatPOWER' has dropped out so early too, thought that would've made low top 10 at most really. |

10 6.36 Next To You (Chris Brown feat. Justin Bieber)
Justin's first collaboration to chart, Next To You was released as a single from Chris Brown's F.A.M.E. album, and whilst it wasn't as big as some previous hits from the album like Yeah 3x and Beautiful People, it managed a top 15 peak in the UK and top 30 in the US. I expected this MUCH lower and it received one of five -1s given throughout the rate, so a good showing for this I think! 9 6.48 Never Say Never (feat. Jaden Smith) Never Say Never was a track released to promote Justin's film of the same name. It also featured as the title track on a remix album, alongside another new track Born to Be Somebody, as well as on My Worlds - The Collection in the UK. The track features a rap from Jaden Smith, which, apart from his iconic tweets, is just about the only notable thing he's done. It was his second top 10 hit in the US, following Baby, peaking at #8. |

8 6.86 Confident (feat. Chance the Rapper)
Confident was the second proper single from Journals, and was the tenth and final #MusicMondays release. It charted at #33 upon release and fell out of the top 75 as every one of the tracks in that sequence did in week 2, bar Heartbreaker, the first one. TV airplay meant that the track re-entered the top 75 and almost the top 40, getting back up to #44 for two weeks. The track is the only top 40 appearance of Chance the Rapper also, fun fact. Great track and one of the best from Journals for me! Oh and the video dialogue...terrible. 7 7.28 All Around the World (feat. Ludacris) All Around the World was the fourth and final single from Believe, and it just about qualifies here, it got a tour video as its music video. It was released as the second promotional single before the album release and charted at #30 but upon its single release, it didn't make an impact at all despite Radio 1 playlisting. |

6 7.40 Somebody To Love
Released at the tail end of 2010, Somebody To Love was the first song to get an X Factor performance from Justin. It helped it become a low top 40 hit in the UK but nothing more. In the US, it was yet another top 20 hit for Justin, peaking at #15! A remix featuring Usher was also released, appropriate considering the song was originally a demo for Usher himself, and he starred in the official video alongside Justin. 5 7.86 Boyfriend Boyfriend was the first release from the Believe album. The track peaked at #2 in both the UK and the US, and was part of the first EVER () all-Canadian top 2, being blocked by his own protégé, Carly Rae Jepsen with her song Call Me Maybe. The song features Justin rapping (kind of), as well as references to eating fondue and "swaggy". Fun times. |

4 7.98 As Long As You Love Me (feat. Big Sean)
Released initially as the third promotional single from Believe in the run up to its release, As Long As You Love Me was picked as the official second single from the album. It charted at #30 as a promotional single in the UK and ended up peaking at #22, not being as much of a hit as many expected. It did, however, make it to #6 in the US, so it wasn't a flop worldwide. This track is my personal favourite Justin track and I'd actually seen it as a contender to win going by the fact it seems to have wide appeal outside of Justin fans on here (I mean, even Bray likes it!!111). 3 8.00 Baby (feat. Ludacris) Justin had begun making waves before Baby happened, he'd released the first part of My Worlds already too, but it was this track that cemented him in the music industry, whether it be for good or bad reasons. Baby divided opinion, becoming one of the most disliked videos on YouTube (possibly THE most disliked? Not sure), but at the same time, it's one of the most watched on there with over 1.2 billion views and no doubt set Justin's future career up well. In both the UK and the US, it was Justin's first top 10 hit, peaking at #3 and #5 respectively. The track is certified 12x Platinum in the US also So regardless of the hate for the track, it still managed to be a huge success and whether you love it or hate it, it's not a song that will be forgotten any time soon. BEAUTY AND A BEAT vs. WHERE ARE Ü NOW |

'Beauty And A Beat' out of those two, although 'Boyfriend' and 'As Long As You Love Me' should have been the top two.
'Baby' is vile. |

Never Say Never is a jam as is Somebody To Love I also enjoy a lot and the same goes for Confident. Baby deserved to be number 1, it's still incredibly catchy today. If Beauty and The Beat wins... D:

'Baby' is brilliant. Such a good song. So glad to see it's just as appreciated on here Pleased that 'Next 2 You' managed to make top 10, really nice track. 'As Long As You Love Me' & 'Boyfriend' are also great as are the top 2! I wouldn't mind either of them winning tbh.

Baby is terrible. Boyfriend should have won this, but out of the two, I guess Where Are U Now should win, simply by virtue of, well, seeming shorter.

2 8.12 Beauty and a Beat (feat. Nicki Minaj)
So in the end, it's one of Justin's features that wins the countdown! But first, let's look at your favourite track by Justin as a lead artist. Beauty and a Beat was released as single #3 from Believe and peaked within the top 20 in the UK and at #5 in the US. The song features Nicki Minaj, who raps the probably now very awkward line of "gotta keep my eye out for Selena" during her verse. The video was filmed at a water park, and was built up to with a publicity stunt from Justin, saying his camera was stolen with precious photos and videos on it. Turns out, it was hyping the video 1 8.29 Where Are Ü Now (Skrillex & Diplo feat. Justin Bieber) And now for your winner! I'm not at all shocked this won, personally, and although I don't consider it near his best, it's a great track and one that most definitely grew on me with repeated listens. Justin wrote this track as a heartfelt ballad initially, and that version is out on the internet somewhere, but Skrillex and Diplo remixed it as part of their Jack Ü project, and the track single-handedly saved that campaign, after lead single Take Ü There, featuring Kiesza, missed the top 40 (deservedly, it was terrible). The track has been one of Justin's biggest hits in the UK, having peaked at #3 here, as well as at #8 in the US (a rare occurance of Justin charting higher in the UK than the US it would seem!). Thanks to everyone who participated in the rate, it's been great fun hosting |
