1 | Name a director of a Batman movie.

3 | Leslie H Martinson (Acidburn, lotti, Oliver, Joe)
3 | Chris Nolan (Dan, Spadz, Jonjo, Haus)
1 | Joel Schumacher (Harry, Jahq)
1 | Tim Burton (Ultraviolence1989, chart wizard)

POINTLESS | Zack Snyder (notfurlong)
POINTLESS | Eric Radomski (Josh)

50 | Hugh Jackman (Dobbo)

First up a nice easy one. For most of you.
Hugh Jackman, as far as I know, has never directed any kind of movie, let alone a Batman one. He was the only one to guess incorrectly. Most popular answer came in the
form of the director of the crappy Christian Bale movies, which I hated, except for Anne Hathaway's Catwoman, sorry, alongside the director of the totally embarrassing 60's movies, which goes to show how differently different people see Batman.
Josh and furry get a bit clever by naming a director of animated movies and the director of the new Batman movie, out at the end of the month.

Hoping to set myself up well in the first half because I'm expecting to flop on the last five.

Not a bad start at all there

2 | Name an actor/actress from a superhero movie who once did a guest spot on Smallville.

1 | Helen Slater (Jonjo, chart wizard)
1 | Evangeline Lilly (Josh, Joe)

POINTLESS | Amy Adams (Acidburn)
POINTLESS | Robert Wisden (Dan)
POINTLESS | Rutger Hauer (Haus)
POINTLESS | Julian Christopher (Spadz)
POINTLESS | Margot Kidder (Jahq)

25 | Alan Ritchson (Harry)
50 | Terence Stamp (Ultraviolence1989)
50 | Annette O’Toole (Oliver)
50 | Alessandro Juliani (notfurlong)
50 | Arthur Curry (lotti)
50 | Chris Pratt (Dobbo)

Now, for some clarification, in my head, guest spot means a minor role in one or up to about 4 episodes of a series. So some of these are, to me, wrong, but not totally incorrect so I gave some fo you half of the full marks. Alan appeared in a few epsodes as Aquaman but he's not really been in a proper superhero movie other than a voice role in an animated one (I don't know if I count Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) Terence Stamp did the voice of Clark's real father and his voice appeared in a host of episodes which I consider more a recurring role, same with Annette who played Martha Kent. Arthur Curry alas, is the real name of Aquaman and Chris Pratt was never in Smallville. Alessandro seemed to be in 14 episodes so was again, recurring to me.
Only Evangeline gets points for the correct answers, she was an extra in a few episodes, so was a literal guest.
Glad someone went for Amy, who played a fat girl who made kryptonite smoothies in order to lose weight but this gave her an insatiable hunger and she ended up sucking the fat from people. Epic.

3 | Name a song that has a superhero in its title.

2 | Eminem – Superman (Spadz, Haus, chart wizard)

POINTLESS | Joe McElderry – Superman (Acidburn)
POINTLESS | Thor Kills the Destroyer – Patrick Doyle (Joe)
POINTLESS | Laurie Anderson – O Superman (notfurlong)
POINTLESS | Stereophonics- Superman (Dan)
POINTLESS | Captain American We Love You – Jimmy Buffet (Harry)
POINTLESS | Taylor Swift - Superman (Ultraviolence1989)
POINTLESS | Enter The Sandman- Metallica (Jonjo)
POINTLESS | Lazlo – I’m No Superman (Oliver)
POINTLESS | Waitin’ For Superman (Josh)
POINTLESS | Joe Brooks – Superman (Jahq)

50 | Holding Out for A Hero (Dobbo)
50 | Cher Lloyd – Superhero (lotti)

Yay for Dan naming one of the best Phonics singles ever.
I should have asked for only ones with Superman in the title since it seems there are loads of these. Oh well.
Only two wrong answers, both for the same reason, I asked for an actual superhero, not the word hero. Read the question folks smoke.gif
Eminem's take on the Man of Steel is the only song to end up getting points for the correct folk. UV goes with her fave and it works well for her in this case, so well done.
In my eyes, Sandman is a villain and so wrong, but it seems that DC has a few variations who were heroes, so giving Jonjo the benefit of the doubt.

4 | Name an actress in the current DC movie franchise.

3 | Diane Lane (Dan, Harry, notfurlong, chart wizard)
1 | Gal Gadot (Ultraviolence1989, Josh)
1 | Viola Davis (Jahq, Haus)

POINTLESS | Amy Adams (Joe)
POINTLESS | Ayelet Zurer (Acidburn)
POINTLESS | Antje Traue (Oliver)
POINTLESS | Amanda Brugel (Jonjo)
POINTLESS | Apollonia Vanova (Spadz)

50 | Camren Bicondova (lotti)
50 | Jennifer Lawrence (Dobbo)

Ma Kent slaying all your non MILF faves.
Who knew Diane Lane was so popular? Rightfully so I might add, hopefully she gets more screentime in Batman vs. Superman as she nails her role as Clark's mama.
Wonder Woman and Amanda Waller get some love too, two badass DC women who are set to slay in movies this year.
Lois Lane nabs Joe with a pointless and so do numerous supporting characters from Man of Steel. Amanda apparantly plays a security chief in Suicide Sqaud, but I've not sene much info on that, but being a chief suggest power and importance.
Camren is a current DC female, but alas only on TV and J-Law is Marvel.

Not very happy with question two Reggy, when I asked you yesterday to clarify it you said "someone who had a decent size role in a movie and appeared in at least one episode of Smallville, it's not that hard", something which Annette O'Toole fits to.

And how come I get 50 for a "recurring role" when UV only gets 25?!

Yeah but she wasn't a guest star tongue.gif she was in loads of episodes. Although UV should have gotten 50 points too, I'll change that.

5 | Name a universally panned superhero movie.

1 | Green Lantern (Dan, chart wizard)
1 | Catwoman (Harry, Haus)
1 | Superman IV (Spadz, Oliver)

POINTLESS | Steel (Acidburn)
POINTLESS | Elektra (Joe)
POINTLESS | Fantastic Four (2015) (jahq)
POINTLESS | Fantastic 4 (lotti)
POINTLESS | Blade Trinity (Ultraviolence1989)
POINTLESS | Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengence (Josh)
POINTLESS | Howard The Duck (notfurlong)

50 | Superhero Movie (Jonjo)
50 | Superman (Dobbo)

Superman was certainly not panned by critics, Superman IV certainly was though.
Joe skating on THIN ice by naming one of my favourite superhero movies ever tbh. But alas, he was right. I dunno which version of F4 lotti and Jahq meant but all version of the film were pretty brutally recieved so it's not too important. Superhero Movie is a spoof and not a true superhero movie, so soz Jonjo. I might be in a major minority but I enjoyed Catwoman and Halle Berry's take on it.
