Amazing countdown as usual and woop at power of Adele. She really was a phenomenon. I didn't really realise it back then but now all she did seems unbeatable.

Incidentally, who is the biggest selling act (in terms of total sales since 1980 rather than sales in any one year) not to feature in this list?

I've not done that calculation actually, I can tell you that REM and Beautiful South were just outside the top 200 on a sales only basis.
