This was a good line-up imo, I quite liked all of them and they'd probably make up my top five too.

1 Helen Mirren
2 Meryl Streep
3 Carey Mulligan
4 Gabourey Sidibe
5 Sandra Bullock

Mirren was perfect for that role, I was living @ how much of a diva she was and she had some great Oscar-y moments (a shame she's been snubbed so much since sad.gif). It took me quite a while to get used to the Meryl performance but I think she nailed the real-life Julia and it's a very fun performance too. Carey was part of the reason that I loved An Education so much, you sort of go on the journey with her, it's a shame she hasn't received Oscars recognition since then too. Sidibe was impressive and I got emotional a few times watching her performance but Mo'Nique was the real star of that movie. Bullock was decent but the performance is a bit too light really, she was more impressive in Gravity but I think she's a bit limited as an actress anyway...

FIRST you shade Cut To The Feeling and NOW Sandra. Josh for -1 in the ratr.

Sandra dominated this year, closely followed by Meryl. Shame Amy never got nominated for J&J, she was just as good.
