12 | Arthur

“Well don’t walk too far that way, or you’ll fall off the edge”

Average rate score: 4.21

Arthur is a 24 year from Dunford, near Exeter. He was the first housemate to enter the house this year. In his VT, he described himself as having had a ‘wild’ childhood, and as the heir to his family’s large mansion. He’s featured on TV before, on a reality show called ‘The F****** Fulfords’, and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen them before on something like ‘How Clean Is Your House’ too laugh.gif or something similar when I was younger. I seem to recall his twin sister reading loads of books etc and he spent most of his time chewing on lego blocks and his dad was like “OH, LEAVE EVERYTHING TO THE BOYYY!” Anyway... Arthur created a HUGE impression in both the house, and on the viewers. His moments included an argument with Imran about whether someone should claim benefits or not (when they don’t need to); offering dust to a load of hungry housemates; an argument with Sukhvinder and Imran about the world not being flat laugh.gif, also with Kayleigh with her constant impressions of him “having noooo money”. He also trashed the kitchen a few occasions. It is thought Arthur had walked from the show, but not much is known about this, and whether he was possibly removed instead for unknown reasons. Either way, he completely dominated the first week of the show, proving he doesn’t adhere to regulations or social rules; probably one of the reasons he’s been rated fairly well (all things considered) here!

Arthur was an interesting one. It would've been nice to see him develop as time went on, although equally he could've become even more annoying, so perhaps it's for the best he left when he did.

11 | Kieran

"Bish, bash, bosh, I get the job done"

Average rate score: 4.36

Just missing the top 10 is Kieran. Kieran entered the house with boss Rebecca. In their VT when she admitted they had slept together, he said “Put me in a room and bish, bash, bosh, I get the job done!” Kieran is 24 and from Clitheroe and in addition to working as a honey trapper, he also installs CCTV systems. He was very quiet in the house, befriending Lotan, Joe and Tom fairly quickly and received criticism from Rebecca for not defending her in an argument she had with Joe. Kieran also attempted to try and diffuse the situation during Fight Night. Isabelle, a girl he had slept with whilst on holiday was later put into the house and it was revealed that he had given her an STI. He had some lovely genuine chemistry with Deborah and she seemed to be a positive influence on him, exposing their fun sides. That said, he could also be a massive diva, such as the instance when he had to change bedrooms to Thorn Cottage in the task which he threw a strop. As a task, he had a staged wedding with Deborah with previous housemates entering as guest speakers. During the fake double face-to-face eviction, he had received fewest public votes to evict against Tom, but, a few days later when it switched to ‘Vote To Win’, he was given a back door eviction just before the final, along with Hannah. He didn't bring much entertainment to the series with many viewers thinking that he 'coasted'. And his memorable quote came from his VT.

Kieran was the epitome of just there, for the most of the series he was nice enough but he was miserable towards the end and definitely deserved to be out before the final.

10 | Charlotte

“I’ve got f****** HUGE balls...”
“I'm really sorry Big Brother. Please don't send me the bill, I'm unemployed!"
“Just get on with it Andrew”

Average rate score: 5.07

Just scraping into the top 10 is Charlotte. A fairly quiet housemate who never really lost her cool or played up to the cameras. As mentioned earlier, she entered with her mum, Mandy who was evicted by Tom in the first week. Despite first being upset, Tom and Charlotte became good friends. Charlotte never really got much air time and appeared very quiet, but many housemates upon leaving said that she wasn’t quiet and had a witty sense of humour, so I suspect some of it came down to editing as she wasn’t involved in many arguments. She spent a lot of the series talking about her vagina, and as the weeks went on, apparently it resembled an overgrown bush towards the end. In fact, she spoke about it so much, it was probably featured in the series more than she was and could have become a housemate in its own right. Early highlights include her dumping a lamp post and acting as a body/security guard during Fight Night laugh.gif . Her mum also returned to the house as part of the temptation task, and told Charlotte that she wasn’t getting any air time and she gave up her job to be on the show. Soon after, she had an argument with Chanelle about the size of her balls laugh.gif . Isabelle and Charlotte developed a mutual respect of each other after Isabelle sacrificed time with her sister for Charlotte and her mum. Andrew found a good friend in Charlotte as she tried to calm him down in arguments, but even she got a little bit fed up with his melodramatic behaviour. She was given a back door eviction in the ‘Through Life’ task. Housemates were dressed as school children and were nominated for categories online, such as ‘Best Dressed’ and ‘Most Powerful’ with the winner receiving an A on their report card, and the runner up receiving an A-. This was all well and good until Isabelle and Charlotte were called to the front of class for ‘Most Popular’. Both these housemates were put up for eviction by Tom and Hannah in the secret attic task (Isabelle being Tom’s choice and Charlotte being Hannah’s) and the public had been voting to evict. Isabelle was first to open with an ‘A’ on her report card; Charlotte then followed and hers said ‘F’. Big Brother then followed with “With such an appalling result, this can only mean one thing. Charlotte, you have been evicted”...

9 | Imran

"Did Nelson Mandela give up, Sukhy?"

Average rate score: 5.14

Imran was also one of the six housemates revealed pre-launch, along with his wife, Sukhvinder. He’s described himself as the black sheep of his family, being of Muslim faith himself but marrying Sikh fiancée, Sukhvinder. Imran was featured a fair amount for the first two weeks of the house, (until he was evicted) due to Sukhvinder’s antics. Imran appears to be the calmer, more level headed one in the relationship. He was exiled by Tom in the first week and stayed in Thorn Cottage. His time in the house was spent mainly backing Sukhvinder up in arguments and then calming her down. He also spent about 4 hours (IIRC) making spagbol, much to the amusement of his housemates. In week 1, he was in the bottom two of all exiled housemates along with Mandy, but was saved by Tom. In the second week, he still failed to gain public support and was evicted with the fewest votes to save. Other notable moments were an argument over claiming benefits with Arthur, and he was known as “the corrupt deputy” in the mayor task as he was encouraging housemates to cause chaos and undermine Sukhvinder. He was evicted in week 2, with Sukhvinder walking out too. We never really got to see Imran in his own right, so he was possibly the housemate with the most potential but never really had much of a chance.

8 | Tom

"SUSAN"

Averate rate score: 5.21

Tom was voted in on launch night by the public as the ‘people’s housemate’ against Andrew, Sue and Simone. Tom is from Swansea and is a nightclub owner. Tom is a classic example of someone who managed to turn around his time in the house and gain popularity towards the end. Throughout most of the show, Tom appeared to be an arrogant, lapdog to Lotan. After Lotan’s removal, he improved somewhat, but after most of his crew had been decimated by evictions, he actually became not only tolerable – but likeable too which suggests that maybe he was easily led and was around the wrong people. He was told off repeatedly for wearing his sunglasses indoors. One of his funnier moments was that he constantly referred to Sue as ‘Susan’ or ‘Susan Evans’ every time he addressed her. laugh.gif His friendship with Kieran remained strong throughout the entire series. In the second to last week, he was fake evicted with Hannah to the attic where they could spy on their housemates. He never particularly took a liking to Isabelle who proved herself to be a strong woman (I suspect he may have been intimidated by her) who later went on to win the show.

7 | Sue

"Don't tell me what to FOOKIN' DO"
"Sick of your 6'3" SHOWMANCE SH**"
"OMG! QUEEN"
"She has 3476543276 different types of bark"
"This house is... EVIL"

Average rate score: 5.79

Sue (Susan Evans/ Hurricane Sue) was competing with Simone, Andrew and Tom on launch night to be voted into the house by viewers as the peoples’ housemate. She really owned the crowd with sentences like she’d ‘Stir, cook, and serve.’ She was not voted in, though she had a lot of support from the Big Brother hardcore fanbase and later entered as a second chance housemate, unable to win – but able to win £15k if she outlasted the other second chance housemates. Prior to going in, Sue was very vocal about her opinions on her twitter account and was referred to as ‘Hurricane Sue’ by fans. A lot of time in the house, she spent analysing every individual housemate (with or without them present) but as she was part of the 'late entrants' team, she was never really trusted. She built a nice friendship with Simone (which she had before going into the house) but also with Hannah and Deborah too. She was never popular in the house as she could be quite confrontational. An example of this was usually after she had a drink or several, which sparked off an argument in the garden with Sam, Ellie and Tom. Another iconic moment was in the temptation task, when her dog was her temptation and she pulled the cord so hard I thought she was going to bring the ceiling down laugh.gif - cue a very excited dog and Sue shouting “OMG QUEEEEEN!!” and her earring flying off somewhere. This decision did not go down well with her housemates and more or less ended her time in the house, though she did defend herself. In The Hunt, Simone had already been evicted the day before but as it was a double, she was still up against Chanelle and Isabelle, with Isabelle being saved due to having the fewest votes to evict. Chanelle and Sue had to sit opposite each other and housemates, one by one, had to stand behind the housemate they wanted to save. Charlotte, one of the first housemates to decide, stood behind Sue and everyone else went and stood behind Chanelle, meaning Sue was evicted.

6 | Hannah

"Are you somebody? Are you somebody? I'm somebody, are you somebody??"
"Love, Peace and Harmony, that's all we need!"
"Can I get an AMEN?"
"Awh, why? sad.gif "
“I’m gunna sh*t, and sing!”
“Whatever, Extra Small...”

Average rate score: 7.68

Hannah is a larger than life character from London. Hannah is the current reigning Miss Nigeria UK and entered the house with older sister Deborah to a hugely positive reception. Hannah was one of the more vocal housemates this year, who dominated the series with her singing, shouting and laughing, to the point where other housemates were being driven mad. In one task, four housemates were locked in a room and were played part of Hannah’s “I’m gunna sh*t, and sing” song on a loop, much to their bemusement. She used singing as a defence mechanism and had so many songs, she could put out a ‘Greatest Hits’ album. She’s very loyal and fights for those she cares about, and was one of the most confrontational housemates this year – and seems to have no fear (except Smurfs) and will take anybody on if she feels she needs to, though also had a caring side. Hannah was frequently nominated by housemates frequently and survived three evictions – in Big Brother terms, it’s almost unheard of for a black confrontational female to survive so many. Viewers felt a range of emotions for Hannah, from wanting to scream at the TV to cheering her on in arguments. Hannah defined the series with many hilarious, yet random quotes. Hannah played an active role in Fight Night but also tried to calm Deborah down afterwards. She had some great put downs, for example with Andrew and Tom. After Chanelle and Ellie were evicted, Hannah and Tom were fake evicted and entered the loft, where she more or less dominated everything. She was given a back door eviction, along with Kieran in the ‘Heaven & Hell’ task, with Deborah and Tom accessing heaven. Other notable moments included her projectile vomiting all over the housemates, after attempting to eat century eggs. Hannah will probably be one of the more memorable character from this year, whether that’s for the right or wrong reasons, you decide!

Perfect top 6, Sue I'd have a bit lower as she was more annoying than funny or "iconic".

Sukhvinder could've gone either way tbh, as it was vote to evict I'm unsure she'd have lasted but without Imran she would have integrated more and not been nominated as much, she could have been the fan fave who came like 4th in the final.
