hello i am jake and myself and petal will be hosting this 20th edition of unknown pleasures

of course, this follows my win with 'ruok' by fae. remind yourselves of how it sounded like:



There will be some fancy graphics, because ketalina is a good friend of all us and that is that.

rules then, because what is life without rules:

• there is no strict rule with regard to genre or length, but please do send something you think is suited to this competition, to help establish an identity away from BJSC
• the indie mods (Jake, Grebo and 152chris) reserve the right to veto a song they feel is not indie or unknown enough for the contest
• auto-vetos will be handed out for any of the following reasons:
- • the artist has made the UK Top 75 singles chart or the UK Top 40 albums chart
- • the artist has previously been sent into UP or BJSC (make use of these links when deciding on your entry)
- • the artist has already been sent by someone else in this contest (an artist cannot have 2 songs in the same contest)
- • the song is on the UK release schedule
• do not reveal your own entry to anyone or even hint at what you have sent, it defeats the whole point of this contest

How do I confirm my entry then, I hear you ask?

• If you are undecided but still wish to take part, reserve your place in this thread.
• Then when you're ready, send your entry to me, ┌ ╫ ┘ , via PM. In your PM you must include the name of the song and the artist(s) behind it, alongside an audio link. It is also advised that you send an mp3 link as well, preferably in high quality. i won't be scouring for mp3s so failure produce one will mean you won't be in the mp3 packs and that would be just awful wouldn't it
• There will be no more than 30 entries allowed in the contest, so be fast. You can still confirm after the 30 reservations/confirmations have been taken up, then you will be put on the waiting list.
• You have until Wednesday 12 August, 11:59PM to confirm. Any confirmations after this time will not be counted. The voting thread will then open shortly after~
