Just been announced that Vasil will sing a self-penned track called "Here I Stand" for Macedonia. My expectations are low after he had one of the most meh tracks of 2020.

Very Disney/Broadway musical...it's not great but I prefer it slightly to "You". Only in a '39th in rankings' to '36th in rankings' sort of way. Why were Macedonia allowed to flop in 2017 & 2018 and now we have them sending stuff like this

Yeah, North Macedonians don't like to be seen as Bulgarians (long story, while there's lots of overlap and their languages are very similar as far as I'm aware it threatens the idea that they are a separate ethnicity and obviously they've had problems with that a lot lately) and the original version of the video Vasil had a Bulgarian flag in one scene.
