Mods don't usually delete duplicate posts most of the time so you shouldn't worry too much! It can happen if you click on Add Reply more than once before it's finished posting (sometimes I do it thinking I didn't click on it and my internet is slow
Really hope duplicate posting (and more urgently, the deletion of your own posts) is a feature to come on the new site. Also, it would save mods the trouble of deleting posts/threads on request when in an ideal world they shouldn't have to (and poll editing/adding as well!)
