Did anyone watch this new animated show? I thought it was quite good. Centers around a family who run a fast food restaurant. I'll probably keep watching it thumbup.gif

I've never heard of it....what channel is it on?

Just looked it up on wikipedia, it seems to be after the "Family Guy" market.....but I won't hold that against it.

I'll look it up tonight.

I'm not sure if you found out already, but it's on E4 on Tuesdays at 10.35 pm. Last night was the first episode.

It's a replacement for American Dad, which hasn't been cancelled yet.

The numbers for this show aren't brilliant atm.

OMG. Just watching this now on 4OD and it's AMAZING!

So much better than 'American Dad'! (not quite 'Family Guy' just yet though, imo - but it's only one episode!)

I didn't know Kristen Schaal was voicing a character in it wub.gif AMAZING.

Go for it! It's quite a dry humour kind of thing, I guess you could describe it like that.

I just watched the first episode, I have mixed feelings about it....

Some of it did get a smile off me but other parts seemed so forced and unnecessary.....I hope it's not all about the restaurant.

That said, the first episode of these shows are often pretty iffy. So I'll watch another episode or two. It has potential. smile.gif

edit: Just watched episode two, much much better. I laughed out loud a couple of times.

I loved the part where the zombies made out rotf.gif

edit: The public and media haven't been too kind to this show, they're literally pulling chunks out of it. (Seriously I've seen some comments they must have been foaming at the mouth) However...Family Guy probably had to deal with this when it first aired. Hope Bob's burgers can get out the other side. sad.gif

I found it dull but i give shows at least 5/6 episodes before ducking out. The voice acting is poor. Very stiff. It sounded like the same guy doing them all and then i was shocked to discover that it isn't. I found the men doing the female characters a little bit cringey. If they did that to put humor in the show, they failed.

I hope they don't cancel American Dad cry.gif Bad bad idea.

I'm actually starting to prefer American Dad to Family Guy. New Family Guy seems to have gone downhill.

Right I'm going to give this a watch... be back later.

Just saw this before. It's not that bad. Most 1st series can be weak. The Simpsons and Family Guy 1st series were good but not that great. Those shows became more popular during the 2nd series. The only comedy that managed to become big after the 1st series was South Park.

The thing about this show is that this sort of animated comedy has been done before (re dysfunctional family). I'd definitely watch this again though. I just hope American Dad doesn't get cancelled for this. That would be a very big mistake!

I read somewhere that Bob's Burgers was created to replace King of the Hill and not American Dad....

It's taken American Dad's time slot and most places seem to reckon American Dad will be getting the axe. Although there are enough new episodes for it to air some next season.

I adore Louise! Kristen Schaal is fantastic anyway, but the casting for her to voice Louise was excellent!

Watching Episode 4 and it's alright. I prefer the episode with the grandparents though (episode 2? unsure.gif) as my favourite though, but they're definitely getting there.

Its recent airing got 4 million. FOX will drop this. They will not get rid of American dad for this. American dad is a money maker in other regions it's shown and through dvd's.

It's on at 10 PM tonight, not 10.35 like last week. Looking forward to it.

Edit: Ok, it was on at 10.35 pm like last week. I could've sworn it said 10.00 in the ad though. Anyway, I enjoyed the second episode too smile.gif

I LOVED the first episode of this, but the second was less funny and the third was just OK. I've never seen such a quick decline in quality and I had such high hopes for this after I saw the first. Shame.
