10. Little Mix - Reggaetón Lento [8.22 - No 11's]

HIGHEST SCORES:
11.0: NONE
10.0: Dexton; Cqmerqn; Miss Americana; Liam; George.keh; JosephStyles
09.5: Defaze; Rush
09.0: caseclosed; Josh!; Cody Burnett; Juliano; Jade; SGrey

LOWEST SCORES:
-01.0: NONE
03.0: ...ready for it
05.0: jakewild; JordanLee

Starting off the top 10 is the last single to be taken from Little Mix's 'Glory Days' era. Reggaetón Lento was a huge smash for Latin boyband CNCO, then Little Mix were asked to remix it and use it as the lead single from the re-release of the 'Glory Days' album. It smashed the charts and has become one of the girls biggest hits. The video is infuriating though coz the potential for an all out, fully choreographed kinda dance battle between these two groups was RIGHT THERE. But they wasted it by having it set in a club where they're trying to seduce each other from the opposite sides of the room! Ugh. But meh, this song is a bop!

Yeah wtf?

I mean, 'Only You' beating it is the real shock to me. I thought that was wayyy more reviled.

RL making the top 10 is iconic. It's crazy how overlooked it is given how huge it was at the time. Its longevity was one of the best of any LM singles was it not? 'Bounce Back' truly cannot relate.

09. Fifth Harmony - Sledgehammer [8.22 - Less 10's]

At #9 and tying with #8 & Reggaetón Lento, is Fifth Harmony's 1st of 3 entries into the top 10, Sledgehammer. This was the B-Side to 'Worth It' over here in the UK iirc. It seems incredibly popular for a song that was never fully pushed as a single here. It's a great pop song and very different to 'Worth It', which had a slightly more Urban-Pop vibe in contrast to this more bubblegum poppy bop. I imagine it would've been a safe top 40 hit had it been pushed and actually promoted as a single. It's very cute and absolutely deserved to be top 3 in Fifth Harmony's ranks!

Jumping on 'Reggaetón Lento' was such a good move for the girls *.* one of my favourite songs to come out of the 2017 Latin craze over here for sure. I remember the song only being shown on the screen when I saw them on the 'Glory Days' tour. Would've loved to have seen them attempt their parts live!

Pleasantly surprised by how well 'Sledgehammer' has done as aforementioned! One of their better moments, it's punchy.

Shocked that 5th Harmony got three into the top ten, and that its NOT including Worth It!

Revisiting Sledgehammer, its got a great hook but the rest of it has not aged so well unfortunately!

Very pleased to see Sledgehammer this high! Far better than some of their more popular efforts. (Worth It being possibly their worst single ever)

08. Little Mix - Salute [8.22 - More 10's]

The almighty, all conquering, all empowering ANTHEM Salute by Little Mix, ends in 8th position in this rate. 6 years later and it's still one of their fiercest and sassiest moments. This song serves as THE perfect tour opener and I feel like it is the song that best represents the album/era. The video is also one of their best videos. The fierce choreography, mixed with sharp and piercing visuals as well as incredible camerawork and direction really sells the song for the dark and gritty anthem it is! The marching percussion kinda sound really suited the girls and seeing this become the smash it was right after the under performance and floppage of 'Word Up!' was a HUGE relief. It went to #6 in the UK and is one of their signature hits!

07. Fifth Harmony - That's My Girl [8.5]

HIGHEST SCORES:
11.0: caseclosed; ...ready for it; LMLoud

Fifth Harmony's own female empowering song is next. That's My Girl finishes in 7th position and out performs, what I thought was the more popular of the 2, 'Salute'! Personally I find the song a little bit of a racket. It has a melody but it's quite irritating at times for me. But it's empowering and I kind of see why it's as popular as it is, even if I am surprised it's higher than their own, 'Worth It', as well as the aforementioned 'Salute'. A good song, but one I tire of pretty quickly.

'Salute' is still such a highlight of their discography wub.gif what a dynamic and empowering song. Weird to see 'That's My Girl' higher than it!

06. Little Mix - Move [8.56]

HIGHEST SCORES:
11.0: George.keh; Jade; Rush
10.0: caseclosed; blacksquare; Cqmerqn; Cody Burnett; 365; Defaze; SamJudd; LMLou; Liam
09.0: Juliano; Jonjo; JordanLee; JosephStyles

LOWEST SCORES:

Falling short of the top 5 is one of Little Mix's most universally adored singles... or so I thought (ALL those 11's & 10's and couldn't get top 5... WTF!) Move remains one of the boldest singles choices for a mainstream, pop group in recent times. The beat is infectious and will definitely worm it's way into your affections. The slick production and vocals, the song with about 2000 hooks and the choreo and video are up there with their best. It's one I always forget just how much I love, until I listen to it! I probably should've given it a 10 in all honesty as it's pretty much perfect in actuality.

'Move' missing the top 5? That's unacceptable tbh sad.gif still one of their most unique and fresh songs <3

'Touch' would definitely be my preferred winner from all that's left, even if obvious.

Power and Love Me Like You are far from LMs best in my opinion.

Move though wub.gif such a unique fresh sounding track. I like the structure of it and that it sounds both new yet quite retro too.

Not one I was sold on at first if I’m honest but over time it’s held up very well.

Touch to win wub.gif

I adore both LMLY & Power, but I am low-key surprised that, although they always do well in the LM rates, a rate with 5H songs mixed in I wasn't sure they'd do as well. But I'm happy to be proven wrong. I'd have guessed that both Salute & Worth It would have been in the top 5 instead had I made a prediction beforehand!
