Now friends, it's come the time to announce the results of the Buzzjack Song Contest 98 - The Semi Finals, those of you who are familiar with the history of Quintessa will know the country is no stranger to having their dreams crushed at this stage, and we couldn't bear to inflict this upon anybody else. So we've copped out and hired a former BJSC winner to do it instead. Someone who knows how to utilise drama and elminiate people in memorable fashion.



So this is how it's going to play out in each semi, five countries will be announced safe first. They will be the lucky ones and breathe a sigh of relief as the rest of the results unfurl, the remaining thirty will be split into fifteen pairs, where only ONE can survive from each pair, there will be no fake pairs if you see two countries battling it out, one will definitely be going home. If you've made it to the final you'll be told to "Shantay" meaning you stay and will be given you're place in the order of the final, if you're told to sashay you've been eliminated, you'll get your semi final placing and points tally.

I think my song has about a 50/50 chance of qualifying.

I hope there's no shock regarding S DNLD tonight, I really want Vitalic to qualify to beat our current streak of 10, would be annoying if we lost it after the 10th for a second time. I'm 90% confident that it'll qualify anyway.

Slay me with the Drag Race concept and presentation *.* looking forward to following this, even though I think quite a few of my favourites in the semi are going to be out. </3 Fingers crossed that Jadakissnia finally acquire a qualifying streak longer than 5 instead of stalling there for a fourth time. laugh.gif

This is the most confident I've been in qualifying all year I think but can still never take anything for granted so let me not get too confident ~

Worried about lots of my favourites. Hope tonight goes well. x

From a personal stance I'd want to qualify but I definitely can't see myself qualifying out of that semi sad.gif (not enough rock fans)

Hoping for the best with who I pointed to qualify ~
