As this forum nears its 10th anniversary.
What would you say has been your favourite sporting moment out of the 10 years of Buzzjack for you? Mine would be: Usain Bolt 100m + 200m World Record Beijing 2008 + Berlin 2009 Jenson Button winning the 2009 F1 World Championship 2011 Canadian Grand Prix Man City winning the 2011/12 Premier League although I'm a Man Utd fan this was extraordinary it will be a long time before this climax to the season is toppled. |

Gerrard in the 2006 FA Cup final
Murray winning Wimbledon was also some feat. |

Super Saturday at the last olympics. mo and jess we sorta hoped and expected to do well but then you get greg getting a gold too. I definitely lost my voice by the end of Jessica's run.

Definitely not Gerrard's goal.
Brazil 1-7 Germany at the last World Cup. The iconic result from the best tournament of the decade. van Persie's header against Spain will also live long in the memory. England 0-0 Algeria in 2010 was a favourite because of quite how bad we were, when the only thing to do is just laugh. Obviously being at Wembley in 2012 to witness West Ham's promotion is close to my heart for personal reasons too. A left-field nomination from me would be Japan beating South Africa in the 2015 Rugby World Cup. Biggest sporting shock for many a year and fully deserved too. |

Yeah that's probably my highlight as well Remember watching it and cheering them all in so much, such a fantastic moment and the highlight of a great Olympics |

The 2012 Olympics/Paralympics in general really, Super Saturday included of course, I'm a little biased to the latter as I was a volunteer there at the time and felt the atmosphere at it's best (plus I saw the athletics live (though that moment's a bit tainted by the fact it was Oscar Pistorious that everyone was cheering eek, how things change)) but there was a rarely a sport that I didn't find really gripping to watch.
Echo the shout for Usain Bolt as well. I used to follow Formula 1 quite closely (thanks to my brother and dad being huge fans) and Lewis Hamilton's first championship win was pretty amazing to see, especially given he was so young at the time (and before he turned invincible/an arrogant dick) This post has been edited by Chez Wombat: 21st February 2016, 06:28 PM |

The 2012 London Olympics in general but in particular Super Saturday. The reaction of Chad Le Clos's father after his son won gold in the swimming was hilarious as well
Manchester United winning the Premier League & Champions League double in 2008 was very enjoyable. Even though I don't watch tennis regularly seeing a British tennis player (Andy Murray) win Wimbledon for the first time in many decades was really good to see. |

Overall in that time period Hamilton winning the 2008 F1 Championship, absolutely breathtaking finale!

Super Saturday for sure, and every other moment of the 2012 Olympics although that was the highlight, it's been so long since the Summer Olympics that the whole competition now feels so essential, what with so many sports on offer, so many fantastic displays of agility and skill and the real weight and meaning each medal carried. I can only hope Rio will be half as good as it.
Brazil vs Germany is a very good shout, never have I been more entertained by a football match and the rest of that World Cup was also pretty amazing. |

In 2006:
Italy won the World Cup most memorably known for Zidane's headbutt. Chelsea won the Premier League Sven Goran-Eriksson left the England job and Steve McClaren took over. Fernando Alonso won the Formula One World Championship. The Winter Olympics were held in Torino, Italy Arsenal played their final game at Highbury. What was the most memorable moments for you in 2006? |

I remember people making dart boards with Christiano Ronaldo's picture on it |

I loved that Italy team. Amazing set of forwards.
Coming from a household that's split between West Ham, Manchester City and Chelsea, May 2012 was a fairly stressful month. How it all worked out so well in the end I'll never know. |
