Chelsea are in a complete mess at the moment. The whole situation is very strange.. looking like Jorghino is joining though along with the Napoli boss.

Confirmed now that Antonio Conte has been sacked as Chelsea manager.

QUOTE
Chelsea Football Club and Antonio Conte have parted company.

"During Antonio’s time at the club, we won our sixth league title and eighth FA Cup. In the title winning season, the club set a then-record 30 wins in a 38-game Premier League season, as well as a club-record 13 consecutive league victories.

"We wish Antonio every success in his future career."

Almost certain that Sarri will become the new Chelsea manager.

He didn't hit his targets. In other words, in two years he failed to win the Premier League at least six times and the Champions League at least three times. No doubt Sarri will be set slightly different targets, but he will find winning at least 55 Premier League games in his first season to be beyond him.

Wasn't Conte basically sacked because he fell out with the chairman and half of the players though?

Chelsea are a sacking club and they always have been since Roman Ambramovich took over. Maurizio Sarri will be lucky if he gets up to two seasons as manager of Chelsea!

It's ALL because of the whole Costa situation. As soon as that text was leaked Conte's fate was sealed.

Why on earth would Wolves be 7th favourite? Unless it's a misstype on 1000 of course!

I mean it's not like anyone outside the top 6 has a prayer but still...

7th Place is wide open to be honest. At the moment I think Crystal Palace will finish there but there are at least 7 or 8 teams that could finish as high as that. If Burnley could do it last season then it could be possible for Wolves, I think Wolves will have a good season regardless of finishing as high as 7th.

I think Palace will be in for another struggle myself, it literally all depends on Zaha - one big injury to him and they are toast. Benteke is absolutely finished.

Think West Ham have a good shot at doing well, making some very impressive signings.

That's the odds that were available in Coral.

With the money wolves have spent I can kind of understand their rationale, would still be a great season for them if they do!

Neves in midfield is a world star in the making and Moutinho is the old hand in Portuguese football!

Manchester United Vs Leicester will be shown live on Sky One next Friday. So if like myself you don't have the regular Sky Sports channels then you can watch it on Sky One instead.
